Forester making a whining noise, any diagnoses and cures please?.

My 2005 Forester XT has started to make whining noise whilst being driven.

 

 

The Forester was previously making a tinny noise under acceleration but thanks to forum members this was diagnosed as Heat shields which have now been sorted.
