Dunno what the hell happened but my ecu is !Removed! !! Giving it some wells earlier as usual but then it went mental

Bonnet up and nothing evident but no start and alarm going off , then nothing !! Rang my mate who came towed me to his but Smelt burning inside so thought I knocked a earth or something

Hour later he pulled out a red hot ecu out and dead

Luckily had a spare so we plugged it in and car fired up strait away tho it's a standard uk map it's only to limp me home
