  1. anybody running 19's on their scoob , what's the ride like ive got (215/35/19's) on at the moment should i go up a couple of sizes on the wall height? maybee 225/40/19? not really checked how much room ive got till i start rubbing the coil pirch (no pun intended) ;) but ive got 17's on the wagon now and i like them good ride not too hard

  5. i gave them a try yesterday but no joy, got a contact in notts whos got a dipping company and can do carbon fiber effect and other designs ,but i don't want them to bling or chav either if you know what i mean .

  7. need to find in manchester/lancashire area an ANODISING company, that i can take calipers to and have re-colored anyone know of any places that i could use? ive contacted a company in radcliffe but no joy and i dont want to powdercoat this pair of COMP BRAKE CALIPERS.
  8. i used to use grease but it took ages to get the grease out of the passageways. the grease method was ok but messy and it doesn't matter what you use to get them out it still makes a bang and if your fingers are in the way it hurts i can tell you.... so now ive converted a blow gun that i can screw into the banjo thread part of the caliper and inflate them so as pushing the pistons out most of the time this works fine but there is always one that's well and truly stuck and not for moving .

    freshly reconditioned, washed + blasted + polished internally + painted +lacquered. all new seals banjo's + washers bleed nipples, caliper bolts pad pins & spring clips.

  11. ive just got another set of calipers to recondition. typical 4 pot sticking piston's one on each caliper, nipple side on the bottom piston each set ive done always seems to have the same fault their either solid or only half working. i have taken photos of stripping the calipers down to their core units ready to be blasted, ported, painted and re-built using all new seals and or reconditioned parts new pad pins & spring clips,nipples,banjos and pistons if needed.
  12. ok thanks i'll have a look see if it helps me, i do have a manual on a disc but the thing won't open on my desktop only the laptop , and i just hate laptops......... and its not easy to find anything relevant
  13. no its not goon on calipers, ive seen it before speaking of calipers ive just got another set in to recondition, stay tuned for after photos.

  16. can anyone tell me what wire colour does what on a sport window switch rear door card , am about to swap the door cards over from a wrx because the cards are lighter in colour and match the seats hopefully. (the switch fitting and the door handle are different) but the furnishings that hold the door card in place are interchangeable . someone must have had a look into this by now? the color code on my wrx/sti is( from left to right into the plug fitting) black/blue blue white/blue blue/red red the colour code on my sport wagon is( from left to right into the plug fitting) black/white blue green/white blue/red black/red
