  1. In luck I do have some workshop manuals for your year, hope it has what you are looking for in it :D just have to remember how I uploaded them now ;) Uploading them now to My Drive. I have the worlds worst upload speed so I would guess be late tonight or tomorrow before it's available but will PM you a link. I have sent them to the owner to link for everyone but no joy as yet :(
  2. I might have a manual that covers it I will have a look. I know I was meant to send a link for one of the Forseter chaps to but couldn't find the post so might need to PM to remind me ;)

  6. Halfrauds can mix some up in a paint spray can. I spray it into the lid and get a paint brush to apply it. I've seen place's on ebay that make touch up pens too match but not tried them.
  7. That part I'm not sure :) might get lucky and be able to get one of the bay. But have thought a local custom exhaust place would be best bet.
  8. Yeah piston slap by the sounds of it mine also does it a little bit when cold in the morning this time of year. but in the summer it's hardly noticeable
  9. Yep just the paint code mate http://www.expresspaint.com/automotivetouchup/pc/Subaru-Acadia-Green-Metallic-40p7985.htm
  10. If you're happy to get under the car to change it when the MOT is due I'd say do it. But I have a friendly MOT man for the cat so I've never had to worry about it :) I just hope he doesn't retire anytime soon :D
  11. Nice job mate glad to hear it. I told you it's a pain in the !Removed! though ;) I hate doing them and the back one is by far the worst I've even known people to leave it and not change it I do wonder if that's why a lot of people get misfires on Cylinder 4 codes. But least it's done now and you know what to expect on the next attempt.... More swearing ;)
  12. Brake* jeez can a man get no slack after a few drinks :D Think I need a break from you lot ;)

  17. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C only advice I can give give it a service if you are worried that it's not been done other than that if it's been looked after well nothing to worry about. But any problems please feel free to ask, we have a great bunch on here. Very friendly I think only people without a sense of humour wouldn't like this forum :D Bias view I know ;)
  18. You're more than welcome I forgot you was on about a forester. Haha the profile picture I'm blaming that ;) I think the MAFS is apart of the airbox or a part of the pipe that comes off it. I don't have a picture of the engine on a 2002 but I do have a workshop manual if that would be of any help :D
  19. You're welcome :) And I haven't either certainly not a common fault :) And it's where I would start with the airlock and just keep an eye on it see how it goes.
