  1. Right this is a new one for me I'm trying to get a local meet sorted on the same grounds a guy had one going until he sadly past away 2 years ago. Now I've spoken to who I need to and they're happy for me to do it as long as I can show them a public liability insurance certificate. Now I know we have one for a building that runs along a public walkway at the side of where I live thats also a grade a listed building at the cost of £600 a year not being funny if a tile falls off in wind as you walk past surely it's just unlucky that you walk down a public path in high winds :( God I hate so much red tape around anything amazes me how people even get out of bed without worrying there is a claim to be made. But I know that won't cover me there. don't really think to much about it. Anyway it's not a business it's just a club meet on a field behind a pub. Surely if anyone comes to look around or trips and falls, injures themselves you need to give your head a wobble and maybe re-evaluate one's purpose in life.
  2. I can't figure why we don't have more members from around your area. You must be the only person in your region with a good sense of humor with people person skills :D
  3. Gambit replied to quit's topic in Car Shows

  7. Cheers guy's I'm pretty happy with it :D
  8. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C And seen some really nice ones tuned so I would say yeah they are very good even if they do look massive we have some members on here with some stunning looking Fozzies :)
  9. Done it :) And the dome badge fit's just nice there I was going to put it on the boot.
  10. Very nice glad to hear you made it back and what an epic drive but by the look's of them pictures one very amazing drive. But I bet it did feel brilliant getting it back home in Sweden. And I've seen the damage a badger can do to a car never mind a full size moose Them cameras are crazy looking things something of war of the worlds, but I like the idea you get plenty of warning so at least it's your own fault. And the car looks even better than the previous pictures I so want them fog lights :D
  11. Oh yes and I agree with Pete well worth the watch http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL1MTbRON4T882S-XEFu3StytlAFShrF2M
  12. Been round it once and I will admit I probably drove round it safer than I do on the streets. it's amazing how big them rumble strips are from the track. But if I could afford to be a little bit more aggressive and attack them and not worry about getting my car back home I would maybe have a go in a slower time than that he's done that track before :D
  13. Bloke on another forum, I think he has been on here had his Impreza WRX from new 198000 miles and never had an engine rebuild. or anything still going strong he's since bought a newer one too but kept the old girl to still drive :)
  14. Japfest 2 at Donington park looks to be the next one, missed out on NBO this year by the looks of it :(
  15. Oh ok so the smiles lasting years is better aimed towards you :)
  16. No worries mate enjoy the drive back home. Just be warned does take a few weeks months sometimes years to remove the smile :)
  17. I think the Vf22 allows more room for upgrades. I'm only going on what I have read on here :)
  18. Haha I see a black hawk wagon yesterday and was going to do the same but it was chucking it down :D But good to know people are using them, I did think it was going to be wasted. I should move them so people can find them better in a pinned post.
  19. Oh right I think they sit at the side of the intercooler on the passenger side but if anyones upgraded the TMIC to a new age then it would. If you can get a picture uploaded mate should be able to see it and check which TMIC it has. :)
  20. Got back today checked the mail and found Scotty had sent me the part I ballsed up had been sent to me and this little gift was with it :D picture doesn't do it justice really but it's domed badge
  21. Yeah make a new thread mate it's fine. And look forward to seeing her in action :D
  22. I'm not fully clued up on turbos if I'm being honest more so with the classic but people seem to upgrade to the vf22 over the TD04. It's like mine I know I have a bigger td05 in mine and it does turbo lag bad unless you already have it spooled or launch it from 1st then it's big smiles :D
  23. Blob about 78k Bugeye has about 113k but had a full rebuild and rough guess would leave it at about 70k plus
