  1. Super job mate glad to hear. Hopefully be back on the road ready for when I pop to the local meet hows that sound ;)
  2. Pop on here mate I did ask if they would come an advertise here with the hope they would help with parts or with any club discount but I did say wasn't needed, with any advise would have been welcome as stated but they said no :( But best people to try. And say we sent you. You never know enough people do they might get the hint ;) http://www.importcarparts.co.uk/parts.asp And might remember my email :D
  3. Safe to say I'm not sure mate sorry :( I'd be tempted to remove the fascia/surround pull it out give it a little Fonzie blow, and put it back see what happens might be a lose connection.
  4. No problem mate. if you use Chrome it's fine not had an issue at all :) and don't need to flick the light switch
  5. Sounds like a good move to me mate. It's worth holding out for the right one. And no worries mate hopefully your mate can get back behind the wheel of a subaru soon and get you to Ashes meets at Sheffield Subaru Services. if you fancy it all a good bunch. I'd make a post for him or get him to post it might come better from him in the Wanted section and post a trade with cash or straight swap for a Subaru and see what comes about you never know :D Just tell him he might need to travel I did for both of my cars :(
  6. I can see why it's a reluctant sale :(
  7. And lot's of swearing it helps :D
  8. Well he updated the thing to being posted almost after I had posted on here so it has until Wednesday 2 weeks from when I've paid. Had items come from Japan in less time ;)
  9. Points and laughs ;) No easy done mate I know what I'm like if you hear a noise that doesn't sound right Least be able to sleep easy now :D
  10. No problem mate happy to help if we can I just see you are in Doncaster not a million miles away from me or Ash :D
  11. As I said before I can't advise I've not done one myself just have millions of guides. So I'm just going to say..... Good luck ;)
  12. What I like the easy cheap fixes :D
  13. Has it got all the paperwork with it to back what he says would be my next question. If it does I still think it's a bit overpriced but might be worth the punt What milage has it got on both cars and when was the clutch and cambelt done on the Imp if you know ? But from what I have read on here I'd maybe take a risk and £500 his way. With the risk it has what he says. But I know loads of people that have bought cars in the past and been told it has all the bells and whistles to find out it's bog standard. But can't blame the buyer if they don't know what to look for :( But I'd rather buy one with less mods and paper work and do it up slowly myself.
  14. Oh and some car !Removed!
  15. You're welcome and please feel free to join in on the forums very friendly forum with some great members if I do say so myself :D And if you get chance we like to see pictures. Of the car of course :)
  16. Might have been the rear brakes just bite a bit and coursed the thud I am just guessing now though :D
  17. I agree trace it all back to the head unit might have killed the speaker too :(
  18. I'm with Matt and Jay from the pictures I wouldn't pay that much and would feel I was getting the better deal with the Seat And I doubt I would say that to often :D
  19. They do look pretty space age looking :) Feel free to post some pictures up of your be nice to see for us lot anyway :D
  20. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C As Jay said not sure I've seen many if any owners on here :(
  21. I agree it's like most things a bit of a gamble wait and see what else comes along or buy that one. I would maybe have a guess if you're a collector you know better places to shop for them and maybe one of these places had that one and resorted to ebay with it.
  22. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C If we can help at all we will. I will have a word with the owner see if we can get something posted on our FB and Twitter. We have had success in the past with a wedding car and tracking down one guys car that had been written off :( So you never know :)
  23. Works fine for me Are you on windows 8 using IE ? If you are the top of where you type there is a light switch looking emblem hit that paste and flick it back and post should work.
  24. Handy having them local and not a bad price at all or could look at another 2nd hand turbo seen plenty getting sold recently but least if you get it sorted locally you know it's all been done and should last.
  25. Good move that mate :D might even be something easy to fix ;) Have to let us know when you get chance to have a look I'm interested to see if you got a steal or a project :)
