Forza League Season 2
I will have to play about with the cars to change the brakes as it will push them past 600 unless I do that and see if I can send them all over the 600 bar without to much effort. Like the idea of the pit's too I wanted to do that before but was worried everyone moaned the laps was too long :) So you could have had a mic all this time tut

Forza League Season 2
I will try speak with the others that asked on Forza, again not sure what's happened to BlackBOSH must have got a girlfriend now he has a Scoobie and started to go out with her and bomb us off ;) I'm happy to start it next week but need to sort out laps and if we are going to do pit stops. Would be handy if we could get on and do a test run or too I guess. Anything else anyone felt needed to change car set ups or rules. I think for restarts to be mandatory half of the racers on the night have to crash i.e if 8 drivers are on and 4 crash out at the 1st corner it's an automatic restart .

NEW PROBLEM Possible Head Gasket ?
there is lots of ways to bleed them I've read the best way is to jack the front of the car up but lucky I've not had too much of a problem when I've done it before I just sit and worry every time the fans come on :D for 2 weeks :)

Yeah I can understand that mate. I did ask why we wasn't but they never answered that :( But I have seen other people asking about the tickets for other clubs so I guess we're not the only ones :)

Error Code P0409 & P0403
I've just looked at the codes and I get Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor "A" Circuit What does this mean? OBD Code P0409refers to The optical sensor provides a high resolution signal to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) by counting pulses on the sensor disk located in the injection pump. The high resolution is one of the most important inputs by the PCM for fuel control and timing. This test monitors the number of high resolution pulses which have been missed (not detected). It's based on a comparison between the number of pulses that were detected since the last pump cam pulse and the number of the pulses that should have occurred. There are approximately 64 high resolution pulses for every cam pulse. Symptoms Possible sumptoms of OBD code P0409 - Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light) Causes Possible causes of OBD code P0409 - Open or short in the optical sensor circuit - Optical sensor connector - Damaged optical sensor - Damaged PCM or ECM The Error code is generally activated on detection of the following conditions: Some high resolution pulses are missing from the optical sensor to the PCM Possible Solutions - If damage, repair optical sensor circuit - Replaced optical sensor - Replaced PCM or ECM Exhaust Gas Recirculation Control Circuit What does this mean? OBD Code P0403refers to The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system is controlled by a vacuum solenoid. The solenoid is supplied ignition voltage. The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) controls the vacuum solenoid by grounding the control circuit(ground) or driver. The primary function of the driver is to supply ground for the object that is being controlled. Each driver has a fault circuit that the PCM monitors. When the PCM turns a component on, the control circuit voltage is low, or close to zero. When the component is turned off, the voltage on the control circuit is high, or near battery voltage. The PCM watches for these conditions, and if it doesn\'t see the proper voltage at the proper time, this code is set. Symptoms Possible sumptoms of OBD code P0403 Usually a fault in the control circuit, will leave no noticeable symptoms other than the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. However, if the EGR control solenoid is stuck open due to debris, etc. the code may be accompanied by misfire under acceleration, rough idle, or engine dying altogether. Causes Possible causes of OBD code P0403 The causes for a P0403 EGR code could be any of the following: Bad EGR solenoid Excessive resistance in control circuit (PCM controlled ground) due to an open, chafing or damage to the harness Poor connection at the EGR solenoid harness (worn or loose pins) Water intrusion at the EGR solenoid harness Blockage in EGR control solenoid holding solenoid open or closed causing excessive resistance Loss of supply voltage to EGR solenoid Bad PCM Possible Solutions With the ignition on and engine off, use a scan tool to activate the EGR solenoid. Listen or feel for a clicking, indicating that the solenoid is operating. If the solenoid does operate, you'll have to check current draw on the ground circuit. It should be less than one amp. If it is then the problem is intermittent. If it isn't then there is excessive resistance in the circuit and perform the following 1. When it's activated see if you can blow lightly through it. IF you can\'t there may be a blockage causing excessive resistance. Replace EGR solenoid as needed. If there is no blockage, disconnect the EGR solenoid and the PCM connector containing the EGR solenoid control circuit. Using a digital Volt-Ohm meter (DVOM) check resistence between the control circuit and battery ground. It should be infinite. If it isn't, then there is a short to ground on the control circuit. Repair the short to ground and retest as needed. 2. If the solenoid doesn't click as it should, disconnect the EGR solenoid connector and connect a test light between the two wires. Using the scan tool, command the EGR solenoid on. The light should light up. If it does, replace the EGR solenoid. If it does not perform the following: a. Check for 12 Volts on the ignition supply voltage to the solenoid. If it isn't present, inspect the supply circuit for an open, or a short due to chafing or breakage and re-test. b. If it still doesn't operate: then manually ground the EGR solenoid control circuit. The light should light. If it does, repair open in EGR solenoid control circuit and re-test. If it doesn't, replace EGR solenoid. Related Codes P0400 P0401 P0402 Hope that helps a little

Hi all

NEW PROBLEM Possible Head Gasket ?
Some checks you can do. Have a look for Bubbles of air coming up into your radiator (remove cap before starting) Don't do this when the engine is hot only from cold run the engine they should be no air bubbles showing in the filler tank -leaking radiator -milkshake colored oil -overheating -rough running -coolant in oil- or oil in coolant -spark plug(s) that have a green tint (if green coolant). -white colored or sweet smelling exhaust. I emphasize "may" include one or more of these symptoms turn on the heater; often when the head gasket is blown an odour of coolant and synthetic rubber will emanate from the heater vents. Check oil cap for gundge like milkshake looking gunk you will know if it is. :( But I would also check for any blockage with the rad and check you removed all packaging from the rad . But the only real way to know for sure if it is the HG is by getting a sniff test done not sure if you can get one to test at home.

Right I tried to ring them but at 10p a minute + standard rate and a slow talking menu system with a million options just to try speak to someone I've now emailed them just now so will wait for a reply mate. I see we're still not on the list so I've asked why too. But believe me if it's been booked wrong I would help everyone try to resolve it and leave the club once it's been settled I'm sure it won't come to that but if it did I would feel I had let people down even though I couldn't have done anymore my end I don't believe anyway, than what I have done. But lets see what they say with the reply :) they might just not have got the club on the list yet or over looked us on the list of clubs going.

Impreza WRX 230 bhp
Really the higher ron the better more so for the the import cars as the Japanese use high ron fuel as standard compared to ours. So I would recommend people to use it.
