  1. Hi mate welcome back. Sorry to hear about the sump :( And I'm in the same boat with mine my hub's chewing bearings up so got it booked in for Tomorrow for a new one, mines not from any Gymkhana event's :D Like the sounds of the alloys get some pictures up mate. And we have another local guy in Sunny scunny now :) we're not totally out numbered :D
  2. Hey Mel welcome to S.O.C And agree some pic's will be great to see when you get chance :)
  3. Nice can't beat buying a car and coming across hidden treasures :D
  4. Looks better then your Legacy mate :D Haha No look good mate have you driven it yet. was interested to know which feels better to drive.
  5. Nice. And that's a sign of a good remapper :) I would like that for mine but I'm not sure it would spend 90% of the time in power mode :D
  6. Fantastic. It strangely brought a smile to my face reading this part "The 818 explodes down Gingerman's front straight. This isn't the fast you get with a 911 Turbo or a Corvette, that sense of mighty power overcoming considerable weight. It's the whoa of a linearly accelerated roller coaster. Second and third dissapear in a rush as the rear end oscillates. I find myself short-shifting just to keep the car straight. It's a genuine thrill, and even if you never took your 818 to the track, the joy of warping between stoplights would keep you occupied for months" "It takes a few corners for my brain to catch up to how the car handles. You think a Mazda Miata is light? The 818 weighs 400 lbs less than the first generation Miata, it rolls on tires 50 percent wider. Turn-in is neck-straining at high speed. On the first lap it feels like the limits are too high to reach, but once you reach them, the 818's a true sweetheart, pushing the front predictably before uncorking its tail in a lazy slide." I want to see some video footage next dam it sounds MEAN! :D
  7. Hi Wayne welcome to S.O.C I think you need to be looking at wheels off 2003 onwards with a width of 7j So I wouldn't want to say yes they will fit but after checking it looks like the 2002 Outback would fit fine. as they was 7J from 2000 onwards. Hope that helps, or that some one with the same model might be able to help you more :D
  8. That's true Snail mail would only lose it or get it to me late anyway :)
  9. I heard that slap a cross the back of the noggin from hear Simon :D Might try that with the Mrs next time she wants me to hoover " I drive the car, you drive the Hoover" If I don't post for awhile I will try let you know which hospital and ward to send my get well cards to....
  10. Sounds like he is the man to use Gary :) Might have to see if this guy will do Club discounts :D
  11. I hope so too. I like the idea of see what other country Subaru drivers do to there cars. :D
  12. That will be why it sucked in my car then :D it ran that bad I thought it was less and made to be more green.
  13. That's pretty smart I would consider that as it seems I have more control on who see's what I do :D
  14. Now by mistake I have put that crap in my car only £30 as my local Total was shut never again car ran terrible. Tesco's normal fuel worked better then Momentum :D
  15. Hello mate welcome to the club. As Jay has said have a couple of people from Europe that post. I would be shocked if there isn't someone that is from Italy that might not have posted yet. :) And love the look of your bugeye mate
  16. I know a lot of people use these for there insurance, and I like the idea that they can track your car if it is stolen and hopefully return it in one piece. But I know my next door she had one and they knew everything from changing gear to late, what roads she went down, and what speed she was doing :( For that reason I wouldn't have one fitted. The big brother thing annoys me :D The only thing I know is it costs each year for subscription I would check that it will save you money with it on the insurance before doing anything. Other then that I couldn't say if a DIY tracker would be any good or not :)
  17. Cheers Pete I do like my money off fuel :D Do me nicely. Cheers again
  18. No worrys I don't have PS on my comp at the minute other wise I would try do one quick :) But get the idea. Silver and black by far the best way to go I think with silver :)
  19. Should look good mate take it you will be leaving the bonnet scoop on ? :D
  20. Hey look it sunny... :D Some say that he only dreams about Subaru's ... All we know is. He should.
  21. 2nd that. Apart from the colour :) I had a problem like that with a BMW funny enough looked great until a bit of rust came through turned out it had some damage done to the car and replaced the front wing. But like you said it was done very well I would never have known. :( But I have found no matter how many used cars you by you always seem to have a problem, sometimes a big problem but mostly be a small thing.
  22. Nooooo!!! But in my defence it was getting late and I had, had a drink by that point :D
  23. Agreed.. Now where is my edit post button gone :D
  24. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C Think Jay said everything. And I agree not the best colour in the world but I'm sure the car will be great :)
  25. I've had one and worked great no problem with the alarm at all. even let me know when some Chavet use to use my car as a seat, while having a smoke :D
