Hello from intending Legacy owner
Follow up from what I've read up on. I know I'm sad but no swingers parties tonight. Right it seems the life of a car to the manufacturer is 7 years as an average. Not sure that is a good number seeing how old car's can be on the roads. But It does seem 80k is the guide point whichever comes 1st.... Not very often it's me that comes 1st, whoops dirty mind again ;) So if thats the case I would look at having it changed. So seems like I've learned two things tonight :D

Hello from intending Legacy owner
But I've not long looked through the 2010 Legacy hand book and it did say trans oil didn't need to be changed I might have to go have another look to double check I was doing other stuff at the same time. :D

Hello from intending Legacy owner
Not sure But it's grabbed my attention ;) So I will look at it some more, I'm guessing it's the way they make the Auto trans to work it doesn't need the oil changes. But still think a change would never hurt but is that me being sceptical. And not being so use to maintaining the oil changes :D

acceleration issue
So what have we done so far Checked for Pipes lose split cracked ? MAFS Done 02 sensor Done Idle control valve ? Plugs changed ? Coil packs looked at ? Just trying to get an idea so don't go over old things twice :)

Hello from intending Legacy owner
I've had a look in the manual myself. It does say for the life of the car. And by the look's of it most new auto is now the life. I wonder if they have some sort of silicone based oil they use now that keeps it fresh for Auto trans

Hello from intending Legacy owner
I was going to say should be for life so I wouldn't worry about it but as Jonny said if you feel the need won't harm it either :)
