  1. Yeah does sound more like maybe something earthing then :) I wouldn't say anything to worry about just yet anyway :) And 320 miles nice little trip out today then :)
  2. It is possible it happened to mine. I had replaced the MAFS with one from a scrap yard but still same thing happened so I changed a bunch of other stuff idle control valve plugs coil packs. Ended up changing the MAFS again and like !Removed! magic it was running fine. But I know it's not cheap to replace :(
  3. I like the style of the alloy's I think it's another feature I like about that on the car just look's like it should have bigger knobbly sort of Range Rover wheels to me. But like you have said might be the arches. And had a look at the rear it does look a bit hot hatch but it wouldn't put me off I wouldn't be sat in traffic needing to look at it ;)
  4. Yeah it is. Like a fat womans !Removed! with dimples all over it.
  5. My 1st thoughts was like this
  6. I'd say something might be starting to falter or a bulb is on it's way out . I'd keep driving it see how it goes. Might have needed the run to help clear it I would just check coolant fluids too. if it does it again did you mess about behind the dash when you stuck the gauges in ? I know was awhile ago but thinking might have shaken something lose.
  7. I remember someone on here swapped a bugeye ECU for another Bugeye PPP and seemed to think it was fine but I couldn't get my head around it working with him not having the upgrades of car it was from. But that's why I've asked we have had a few questions about mapping. And I think unless you do it or have done it hard to know for sure. I mean I'm stupid enough to have just swapped it over to see what it would do :D but thats me I wouldn't want to tell someone to try it without checking 1st :)
  8. Could do a few things with them still being out the car. And I'm sure the car place could soon get them sorted.
  9. I'm still not 100% sure it would work what mods have you got is your's a WRX and wanting to put an STI ECU. And I still think you would need to sort the Immobiliser side of things out. but I'm not a Remapper at all my knowledge doesn't go very far with it. I'm going to email someone I know who's a mapper near me and see if he will join up and give you advice. He does it for a living so would be better to speak with him :D I've PM'ed him on Facebook for you mate not sure how quick a response it will be :)
  10. I've not used one on seats before I did use my carpet cleaner, worked well but had to keep door's open in the summer to let them dry out all day. I'd give it a try :D put a bit of softener in a spray bottle with water to help.
  11. Me too thats why number 3 is in there for us ;) Mind you I'm closer to 30 than 40 still :D
  12. I think it would still need to be remapped mate. And would depend if the ecu is from an import or UK car and visa versa :)
  13. It's the black bonnet trim I think I liked about it it does add a little something more to the car. I'm going to have to go look at some !Removed! now ;)
  14. I don't blame you off roader toy's will always have battle scars. And so they should ;)
  15. Good result hopefully. And I work in both measurements so I'm fine but thanks for thinking of us Youngness ;) If you do end up changing the Clutch I'd look at getting the flywheel skimmed too saves a job later on :D
  16. Everything I've been reading was it was making a comeback in the UK if demand was big enough. But looking at how ugly it is an very American looking I could see why it wouldn't do well, but still it would be a shame not to see them here :(
  17. Looks great I really do like the look of it. Does look like it could do with bigger wheels to me, but still like the look of it. A good buy I think :) Think you are now the 4th owner of one on these forums :D but looking at your's I can't understand why
  18. I've been wanting to practice my breath holding skills for pearl diveethpfnmklhlfgbv...............
  19. I agree with Jay good time scale to aim for. And nice job with the MOT I have mine next month :( And what better place to go after having it fully repaired than the Ring :D Kudos And did Stanton500 show you his legs he has sexy legs ;)
  20. I'm sure it will be fine I think by the time you have done your own stamp on it and played about with it. And driven it in the snow you will see why it was a good choice :D
