  1. I'd put these in with the OBD codes but I think your right better posted here :)
  2. I shouldn't worry about it either could do with getting some of them on here anyway :D
  3. Anyone know where the purge valve solenoid is for a 95 classic Impreza I know where it is located on new age and I had a quick look last night in the 1993 to 1996 manual, it was a very quick look so might have skimmed past it. Asking for Danmad ;)
  4. Think it needs addressing if people can't find them for sure Even though it's the same thing just nice to have everything in one place for ease instead of linking off sites. how I see it anyway for this sort of information :D
  5. We have how to on both them think we need to find places they can be better found :D There both pinned in this thread funny enough :D
  6. See if he will take sexual favor's as payment ;) I'm not sure from a legal point of view, but I'm sure they can't just do the work and bill you for it. I know my mate always rings people up to let them know if there is anything else, but will say he can get round it if it goes bang they took the risk and not him. So I would just say stress that's it you can pay cash maybe if that's maybe how he's going to doit ?
  7. I agree I don't think I've had a car that's been as bad with the breaks ever. But I'm being forced to do them now keep getting a sticky piston. So I'm thinking when I get the time I might as well do the lot in one go :D
  8. My next thing to do I think breaks :)
  9. If that's the case whichever way you jump is a gamble I know I have been there. I would go for the guy who is cheap but stress to him that once the pot he has quoted is dry that's it there is no more. I'm sure this is why I will never win the lottery I would want to help people to much :D As long as you don't want my bottle of beefeater it's all cool ;)
  10. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C I've always been inspired by the word bang but maybe not for the same reason's ;) But I do love rally cars the same as you :D And I share the same interest with Anti lag ;)
  11. Oppps I did read the light came on. As Tlag pointed out, I'd get that checked with a reader if you can use one :) Cheers mate for pointing that out appreciated. :)
  12. Right so we all know if we use Tlag for engine repairs he can do them in 9 hours ;)
  13. I was about to say the same as Jay ;)
  14. I would have either said diff oil leak or the belt's that has given you the smell of rubber I doubt very much it will be the main belt's so either the steering or Aircon belts would be my guess
  15. I can't see it not selling with the work you have done already I take it you are in the forces then :) Or a part of the clean up ;)

Yeah bit brutal init. Think some sand behind to let the bearing hit would have worked better :D
  17. Gambit replied to scoo8s's topic in General Subaru Chat
Same with me sorry I haven't a clue with auto gear boxes.
  18. So you couldn't resist then :D I will say good luck with the sale not that I think you will need much luck mate, stunning looking and think it sells it's self at that price. But I've said it anyway :D

Well at least his hand guard protected him... Well his hand anyway. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ti4yI1deCI
  20. Don't worry about Bouncer he's our very own clubs Victor Meldrew ;) But I've grown to like him so I let him stick around
  21. I would have said £1.2k is about what most places would charge might take them a week with being busy and getting parts but for someone who knows what they are doing and has the time 2 to 3 days is easily possible. I'd be tempted to have it swapped for ease and cheapness :D
  22. Not sure with this one I was going to say Sometimes they come back But don't think it was as old
  23. Nice if we get club discount but not needed I guess if he price matches. I was thinking more for when people need parts it let's them see who they can ring around or speak to on here and have a bunch of them here in one place. I did sort a small list of breakers out but they don't advertise here I just posted there details. And best of all it will be free for them at the minute not sure if that is to change in the future but that has nothing to do with me, but they will get the choice :D And you should think that the six speed wouldn't spit it's insides out . And I agree I'm shocked the 5 Speed did at that RPM range I wouldn't have thought it was possible but just shows you :)
