  1. There is a young guy on here Rollermite who had a battery leak acid all over the back of his. And he did a great job repairing it be worth having a look at his pictures.
  2. I have a friend like that :D I call him Dangerous Dave :D well it's my Missus sisters Boyfriend :) he's alright just terrible when he's had a drink ;) As for the strut it's not uncommon with the self level. Like the old saying just another thing to go wrong. But I'm not sure how to fix it myself :( could be a few things from what I've heard from cracks to lose of pressure.
  3. I still think Pulp Fiction was his better role :D
  4. Oh cool I will send my car up for you to play with :D
  5. Great news mate glad you have it sorted. And Kudos to you Dogma :D
  6. Haha somewhere ? I will try hunt them down now and link them here and be great more pictures the better for me ;) And thanks for sharing the day with us it's much appreciated and to you to Craig :) Pictures Here http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/gallery/album/79-fifth-gear-photos/ Just looked through them all Lot's of picture and enjoyed looking through them. And your car look's great by the way, the best there ;) The Volvo looked really outdated now doesn't it :) Like Audi just don't like 96% of the !Removed! holes that drive them :D I have to ask why did they have them jacked up on the ramps or was that part of the episode ?
  7. No problem hope it works. And I agree I wouldn't ever put anything in it. Like you have said I'm sure it would do more damage then good :D
  8. Any type of brown nosing or money Jay and myself's way is gratefully received ;)
  9. Ohh you sound full of confidence
  10. Check the rear lights are tight might need to put a blob of silicone around the threads on the lights to form a water tight seal. I'm sure that's where it will be getting in from.
  11. I have just posted this to another member with a petrol leak problem. My next door used some on his classic mini and worked so I would atleast try it. Not used it myself though. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/J-B-WELD-8277-Water-Weld-Epoxy-Putty-2-oz-UNDERWATER-NEW-/330769453745?pt=Motors_Automotive_Tools&hash=item4d036552b1&clk_rvr_id=522880382169&afsrc=1
  12. God dam it I see stupid question and though nice one, one I can answer :D
  13. Am I thinking about the same sort of grinding here or is it wishful thinking :P :D
  14. Yep you have read right could be that I've also known the spring to snap making it drop. So definitely rear suspension issue or a flat tyre :D
  15. I would try some of this with the oil change http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FORTE-DIFF-AND-GEAR-TREATMENT-NEW-125ML-GEARBOX-/251342602851?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3a852fc263 Could risk a 2nd hand gearbox be cheaper but again run the risk of it being as bad or worse. But I think a refub box is just over £1K so not cheap then fitting. might be able to get it cheaper but would need to shop about. But I would still try the oil and treatment :D
  16. Yep you got it :) should be fine with the brackets being moved to the right places :)
  17. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C Please feel free to have a look around the forums and to join in on the threads. And do you like movies we have a fun movie quiz going looking for more people to join in :D And sorry to hear about the bump hopefully be easy enough to repair. have you checked it's not the bumper that been knocked lower.?
  18. I'm sure the brackets don't match you would need to change them and I believe it would only fit from Cat back
  19. I've thought about it not done it yet myself I do like the debadge boot's
  20. I'm going to say I can't make it, but that's not 100% might be ok just unsure. Had a few unexpected bills this month with a £700 broken table and a new graphics card :D and on the 22nd of Oct is my son's Birthday. But I will try ;)
