  1. I am also now aware that my mpg is actually around 31 mpg as the Fuelly app was set to U.S measurements. I'm going to drive the car until the light goes on. As I'm sure there must be one. Having checked a manual online there certainly appears to be 🤣🤣🤣
  2. I am aware the tank is 60 litres. So wondering why the needle is showing empty if indeed there is another 12 litres in the tank.
  3. Hey all Tried to list this earlier and hasn't appeared so wondering if it worked so posting again. Car had oxygen sensor code and temp needle wasn't rising to normal running temp position when I bought it 4 weeks ago. Changed rear oxygen sensor and EML now gone. But temp issue still present and still running cool so changing thermostat next. Part arrived today. Running cool I have ran 2 full tanks of 95 Ron with fuel additive both times. I filled when the needle was making me nervous on the empty line, but still only managed to fill 48 litres both times. Each time has given me on average 330 miles meaning an MPG on Fuelly of 25mpg. Which I felt was really low. I have Been driving conservative and only commuting with average speed cameras so never having much fun. Questions. 1. Will the low running temp cause such a low mpg or effect it so drastically? 2. Should a fuel light not be coming on or is this a luxury not afforded to this model? Or is it a case it only comes on when the needle is touching the empty line? 3. Anything else you can suggest? Is 25 mpg what I will come to expect driving like a nun? I'd expect maybe 30mpg motorway driving driving at 65 for 18 miles twice a day. Any help or tips appreciated on other things to check or do. Cheers Scudder
  4. Thanks mate. Bought the car. Fixed a sensor issue with help of forum. And posted another thread looking for help with another issue. Thanks again
  5. Hi all First time poster. I am looking for some urgent guidance. I am looking to buy the above car. It is spotless. Only issues I could see were. 1. Both front tyres have only a few mm of tread left but are legal. 2. Rear light cluster has misting within on if the casings. 3. EML is on. Owner who is in the trade (works for a national garage) has taken it and diagnosed the fault as oxygen sensor. car has covered 63000 miles. Had belt done at 40k and has good service history. I've done an extended vehicle check and also paid for a premium valuation on the car. Vehicle checks all fine. Valuations are my concern. Seller is asking £2200 or nearest offer. Seemed reasonable to me given the circumstances given the low mileage and good condition. I got an insurance quote and my insurer will not let me list the valuation more than £1240 What car valuation private excellent is showing £1820 Parkers premium adjusted valuation which cose me a fiver is saying £1300 My initial thinking was if all was OK I was going to offer him 1800 based on the known issue having not had it valued at the time and given his initial asking price. But now I have had it valued I am not so sure. Genuinely seems a tidy well loved car, but I really don't think the Owner is willing to reduce his price that much having spoken to him. Think he would rather keep it. I am in a hurry as I need a car but certainly do not want to pay over the odds for a 16 year old car no matter how tidy. Can anyone offer any thoughts? Thanks in advance Scott
