  1. I'm not sure about your model, but on my 2009 2.0 R Impreza it was just a matter of changing the steering wheel that had the buttons, the connector was there, I just plugged it in and the cruise was working just like that. Hope it helps!
  2. ah the pinch bolt can be a nightmare, I spent many hours on it, eventually had to remove both the lower arm and hub knuckle together and replace it all + new wheel bearig. Good luck!
  3. If I can't find it on eurocarparts I usually go for ebay and autodoc
  4. I agree good winter tyres will do most of the job and an automatic transmission shouldn't be a problem. I have 2009 Impreza automatic on summer tyres and (believe or not) just had many occasions to drive in snow here in UK. Whenever I had occasion to park into a deep snow I was doing it and going out of it was not a problem, but a pure joy. Even in automatic you should have the sport mode where you can stick to a gear and change it in a manual way if you wish (I never use it though). Good luck with your purchase!
  5. Found it, close to the steering under dashboard, with 8 pin socket.
  6. Hi there! Maybe someone would know where I find that relay but on 2009 subaru impreza 2.0R? I connected a generic remote controller system and it locks/unlocks fine just need to connect to indicators. Thanks!
  7. Hi! Any idea what are these cables for? There is one green pair and one white pair which are matching but looks like disconnected for some reason before. One black plug but without a pair. It is on the driver side where I was expecting to find the Sigma alarm (just couldn't locate it). Cheers.
  8. Hi! I'm trying to re-program fobs (one that is working currently and another one that I bought online) using the PIN code (I got it from the dealer and it works, I can arm the system with it) but I cannot get that procedure to work. After # key I'm pressing a fob and if I press the one that is working, it will just arm the system instead, if I press the other fob, nothing happens. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
  9. Never mind :). I tried again and with a bit more patience I could lift the headlights higher using the adjustment screws. The lights do auto calibrate somehow each time you move the adjustment screw which can make you feel somethings not right. Hopefully I can go for retest now 😅
  10. Hi guys! I have replaced level sensors both front and rear on my 2009 Subaru Impreza (UK) that has some auto leveling system. I also had to repair/restore some arms holding the sensor in position. At the MOT the guys were trying to adjust the headlights as they were saying it was aiming too low but failed to adjust it saying it didn't want to do it. There is some adjustment screw at the back of the headlamp but seems like it doesn't lets you do any adjustment. Is there some special procedure to adjust the headlights? I've found something on the internet (attached) but it doesn't seem to work on my car. I'm guessing there has to be some way of programming/resetting that leveling system after a new sensors had been fitted. Thanks.
  11. Sorry for double posting, but I don't see how to edit my post. Just wanted to add that I am also not sure if setting a new pin using the fob works for me. It beeps once after the programming code (17856) and then it beeps once after the rest of the sequence (*92*CODE*CODE#), but then I am not able to use that new pin code, neither for arming nor fob programming with option B.
  12. Hi! Should that instruction work on a 2009 Subaru Impreza UK model? I think I have the M30 Sigma alarm. After putting the 17856 code I can hear a beep and also I can hear it after putting the # character, but when pressing the fobs it is not working as expected. I want to program 2 fobs, one that is working and another that I bought recently. The working fob when pressed, arms the alarm, pressing the non-working fob does nothing. So something is not right. Here is the story. I bought the car with only one key. I went to the dealer but they want £360 + programming (and maybe + vat, not sure), so that's not an option for me. I bought a used key fob just to be able to open the car remotely in case the key I have now stops working, but so far I can't find a way to program it. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
  13. Hi, My name is Hubert and I'm from Poland, living close to Cambridge, UK for the last 3 years. 2 month ago I bought my first subaru, it's an impreza 2.0 R auto 2009 and it's so much fun car for a little money. So far I've used it as a daily commuter and for short family trips. I like do some small DYI works around my cars. So far fitted DRL lights to my impreza. Looking forward to get to know more about subarus in general. Kind regards, Hubert
