Sheffield Subaru Service 10th March
Gonna have to be the next one for me.

So this is the story
No, because its a sealed system it prevents the water from turning to steam once it rises above 100 degrees. The addition of coolent/antifreeze increases the heat managing properties of water and stops in freezing in winter. Are you sure theres not just a leak somewhere? or could be a head gasket. hows the car running?

Not running properly.
I cant see any pics

Not running properly.
I think the boost solenoid is in front of the offside strut. is the hose your on about underneath the intercooler at the bottom left? if so it could be the 90degree elbow hose that connects the turbo to the intercooler, definitely doesn't wanna be loose.

Sheffield Subaru Service 10th March
I should hopefully make this one

Not running properly.
Yeah a service and new plugs will definitely help but sounds like a boost problem, id check all the hoses, make sure nothings leaking or come off, especially between the boost solenoid and wastegate actuator. maybe clean the solenoid out.

Hi all, new member.
Just thought id say hi as i've just joined the club. I had a 99reg turbo 2000 a few years ago and loved it, messed about with a few different cars in between, but finally back in an impreza, really missed the engine. love it!
