  1. Replace all 4 glow plugs and it may have blown the fuse in the fuse box under bonnet very common , good luck in getting them out as they sieze and snap my advise get engine as hot as u can and carefully try to get them out Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  2. Hi everyone. Just a quick reminder that our next meet is to be held on Monday 14th September at 7pm til 9pm. Usual rules apply :) Also advance notice that the October meet (12th of October ) is going to be our last one of this year and we will start again approx April next year. See you there Rachel :) Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  3. The first thing I would do is rectify the speedo issue as the ecu needs a vehicle speed signal from the speedo. If it is anything like Imprezas this will more than likely rectify the 4500 rpm problem.
  4. Meet -8th June 2015 Hi all, just to let u know the next meet will be going ahead on Monday the 8th of June 7pm til 9pm -if we wait for Ash to post, u will all find out on the 9th [emoji12] Usual rules apply......... Meeting Rules 1. No idiotic driving on the roads surrounding the Meeting. 2. No leaving litter. 3. Do not partake in any other idiotic behaviour. 4. Have fun and meet fellow Subaru owners. See you there [emoji2]
  5. Big thanks to Ash for doing his part in arranging last nights meet. Was an amazing success with a grand total of............ 1 person coming down. That was our final meet to be held so to make it such a success despite the shocking weather was overwhelming. Cheers for that mate ;)
  6. Hi, it's Rach. Just saved some of the pictures ready to put onto the website. Is anyone here wanting their number plates blanked out first or are you all ok with them going on as they are??

  8. Hi Just a quick request that if anyone takes any pics tonight which they would like be put onto our website, please email them to me at 5ubaru@btconnect.com Cheers, Rachel
  9. Doesn't taste to nice when blowing down header tank but it has to be done to push the air out lol
  10. The way I bleed the cooling system is take little pipe off top of radiator from header tank fill header tank and blow on header tank keep filling and blowing in header tank until coolant comes out of the top of radiator a nice flow allowing all air out of system and topping header tank at same time then refit pipe top header tank up run engine for bout 30 seconds with cap off and then refit job done wait for fans to cut in then let it cool and just top up header tank if required I always do it this way and never have any probs cheers martin sss
  11. Knock sensor fault can flash on and off randomly and could be a separate fault to one u experiencing I would block vac pipe on dump valve and give it a run see what happens mate Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk
  12. Have had few problems we dump valves could be sticking , blank vac pipe to dump valve and try it pal if not I would see if u could lend a maf off somebody to try mate as they are bout 125 from dealer Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk
  13. What type of cone filter are u running , maf sensors are very common on version 5 and can cause erratic idle wont rev above 4500 rpm , holding back , I had one that when u put vehicle under load fuel pump was weak and caused it to misfire and hold back as well , is it noisy and can u here it prime after it cuts out when putting ignition on , are u running a dump valve ??
