Having issues with a mates uk turbo the marks he put on to change the belt won't line up for anything , he is a mechanic by trade and has been told it's a common issue

Stand your ground think it comes under capability of works or something , he should have the knowledge to change it before he starts the job

Well first sti spoiler ( fibreglass ) was beyond repair. Got a call yesterday saying it needs rebuilt pretty much Was disappointed , messaged seller anyway ages ago sent him pictures last night he took responsibility but I agreed to a refund - postage and he is sending a courier Stroke of luck I went school with a lad who works in a salvage place got a message on Facebook about a subaru Got this !! Just missing a cap

no its quite simple mate, they whine and make alot of noise anyway due to the age of cars now but one my mates had a whine on his UK , took it to a gearbox specialist who recommended a replacement (to the tune of about 1k) he was thinking just do it and its done but then the usual £ crisis hit and it never got done about 80k later and it was still fine, just kept topping up the fluid and regular changes
