  3. On that matter (dash-cams) I got this reply from the local police (that I get on well with thanks to neighbourhood watch) on whether they'd be able to prosecute based on in car footage I took (when I get my dash cam). Asked cos I'm getting sick of being cut up on a daily basis now by dumb-f**k boy racers "David, apologies it has taken me a little while to get back to you. I have forwarded your query to our Road Policing Unit for clarification, I'm aware that the use of on board cameras is something which is on the rise for not only cars but cycles too. Our advice is that such footage could and would be used in the same way for evidential purposes firstly providing that the equipment was mounted correctly within the vehicle and not hand held whilst driving. One thing I would possibly recommend taking into consideration and is something officers at times are required to do, should footage not be able to be removed easily i.e. to USB etc devices may then need to be seized in their entirety. Every piece of footage would be examined individually and based on the unique circumstances of each case it would be decided by the investigating officer or CPS if the footage was deemed suitable to use as evidence if any offences were captured on such footage, and any incidents reported via 101 in the same way as any other non emergency incident. I hope this helps, Regards Vikki." I'll get the b@stards done if it kills me haha
  4. Yes, I think it's still there mate. I don't recall it giving me other sizes, but this site does though ;) http://www.wheel-fitment.com/car/Subaru/Forester%20(2003%20-%202008)/ Here's yours too fella: http://www.wheel-fitment.com/car/Subaru/Forester%20(1997%20-%202002)/
  5. I don't think I'm searching for re-inforced....not intentionally anyway. Up to now I've just put 205/70/15H in but will be searching T-rated now too
  6. Just give him the royal wave lol

  9. Indeed mate......those Hankook's defo on the radar now ^_^
  10. Can't answer your question, but the thought of 7000rpm made me smile.... ....sorry...my bad ;)
  11. Ok - quick update on this one. Just spoken to my insurance company (RAC) regarding the speed rating issue. The advice I was given was that I would need to inform them, but as long as the tyre size wasn't changing, it would just get 'noted' on my policy, but other than that, they would have no problem with it :) Cue many more hours spent researching T-rated tyres now......my wife will despair
  12. Today I have mostly enjoyed watching the rain beading and running off my waxed bonnet
  13. Omg I'm banking on half of that lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. I'm still on the lookout for an official Subaru Forester dog guard, if anybody is looking to get rid of one. Needs to be in good condition. The odd one comes up on fleabay from time to time, but I won't be ripped off postage-wise, which seems to be the case on there with these. They can be sent by courier for close on £10 I've found. Happy to wait for the right one :) Thanks David
  17. Me too mate. Many years ago when we rented a house just after we got married, the lad we were renting off tried to withhold our bond due to the carpets being dirty. The cheeky ****** had a nerve, as we left the house in better condition than we found it. So I took him to court, won, and got a CCJ taken out against him. He refused to pay, so I found out where he worked. I then applied to have the money deducted from his salary at source, at which point he paid up instantly - and more than he'd originally had to as he now had to cover our additional costs. Too many wankers in this world thinking they can just do what the F they like......not in my world they don't!!! 'rant ends' :P
  18. Yeah....I'd let the !Removed! try and take it to court....less than zero chance of success and he'd end up out of pocket Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. And I've fitted my new Bosch Aerotwin wiper blades....just need some rain now ;) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Thanks very much for all that....think I've decided to rotate. Going to get a local mobile tyre fitter I use to do it. He's priced it at £20 and includes balancing the current rears. No need to balance fronts as no judder or vibes from them currently through the steering. :)
  21. Right....I'm running at between 3 and 4mm on the fronts and between 6 and 7mm on the rears. Too late now for a front to back swap to have all 4 needing changing the same time? Happy to hear your thoughts Mr B Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I'll check tread depths front and back, then post back here for some further wisdom from you, if that's ok B? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Your pink fettish is spreading, Gambit ;) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Ah yes, so they do ^_^ Ok - so I'm going to be replacing 2 at a time......where do I stand using a different speed rating to the OE recommended tyre - both for insurance and safety purposes? Is it a no no really?
  25. They don't seem to make them in my required size, namely 205/70/R15 H :(
