Agree with you re the 360 camera. Had this on my previous Mitsubishi Eclipse which was VERY useful for parking etc. I am getting used to the passenger look-down view now so it does work. One thing that's bugging me is that the auto-dip doesn't seem to work! Probably something I'm not doing but the headlights are set on Auto, I set up the Adaptive Driving Beam but it doesn't seem to dip with approaching cars. Had the same problem on the Field we had on loan so must be something I'm missing! Otherwise loving it. Feels really secure on the road, enough umph for our needs and plenty of room inside. Seeing 30+ mpg (only on first fill!) so happy enough with that. Intend to tow with it soon so that should be interesting!

Hmmm, just had my 2024 OB for a week and it looks pretty much as the above US(?) link, only difference seems to be only black leather available in the UK. Can't see anything missing/extra otherwise. I suspect there will be a 2025 model announced soon, maybe it will be a hybrid (in which case I'm glad we purchased this year!)

Hi Tony Thanks for the reply. Know what you mean re. remote batteries! Same with my Discovery 4 fob, unless you used Duracell 2032 batteries it wouldn't work even if they were brand new!! A custom guard will be fitted but we're also thinking of a cage/box as our dog travels better in a more confined area (she's a setter!) Pulled the trigger this afternoon so just got to wait for delivery, anticipating mid-March 🎉

Hi There, just introducing myself to you all. Been a LandRover Discovery owner for 30 years for caravan towing and occasional offroad. I've now decided that they are too expensive to maintain as older models and too expensive (and posh!!) to buy new. Having owned Subarus way back in the '80s/90s we've looked at the current models and about to pull the trigger on a new Outback Touring. I'm likely to be on here asking questions as I get to know the car but would be interested to know if members feel I've made the right choice for towing (1500Kg caravan) and what solutions people have for safe dog carriage in the back.
