Hi. I'm keen to replace timing belt ('02 Forester 2.0 non-T SG 91k miles, changed already about 23k due to interval). I'm certainly no mechanic and so wonder if it's possible for me? and would welcome some advice. Mechanic told me in no uncertain terms to not touch it ! Most I've done is very basic maintenance and recent radiator, air con cond replacement. Any advice would be great. Cheers. kiwi

Hi. I'm new to subaru's, have forester X and keen to furnish with some nice oil and some fresh boots. Keen to get some advice. 16" standard alloys, mostly road driving... No real criteria, but prefer good MPG and low road noise. Oil, any advice welcome. Although I'm not desperate for it as more than happy with standard car.. Is it possible to easily add turbo? Sorry, bit naive when it comes to things like that. Thanks. Kiwi

Hi. New to Subaru, with older car. Just bought what appears to be a '52 Forester 2.0X Manual in near top condition with 20k miles. Runs well, slight noise off what I believe to be (and thanks from earlier forum threads) the exhaust heat shields. Fun to drive, great handling. I'm keen to learn a bit more but guess best to post either new topic or under relevant threads? Cheers.
