  1. How much are the real carbon items? :)
  2. Brilliant, so 5x100 will fit perfectly ;) :)Does that mean that I can technically fit my old GTA alloys on as they are 5x98 so all I'd need is a set of wobbly bolts?
  3. Do you mean carbon wrapped? If you want it done in a real carbon then I can get a batch made up ;)
  4. Liking that a lot :)
  5. Alright peeps? I'm after a new set of alloys, nothing special but a set with good quality tyres as the current tyres are down right dangerous, to the point I'm not using the Impreza. Question is this, does the PCD 5x100 fit the classic Impreza okay? Secondary question, does anyone have a set going for not much money? ;)
  6. Indeed, I've got a friend with a STI hatch with a full H&S system, sounds perfect!! I'll keep this exhaust for the new wagon as well ;)
  7. Collected it this morning, it's in much better condition that I expected it to be in tbh, it's rather dirty but I'm going to polish it up like new soon once I've had lunch. It's a 3" system so what my plan is, I'll take off the original centre section, butcher that and weld in a 3" section but smooth it off so it's not just a step :)
  8. Collecting a hayward & scott cat back today for a grand total of £50, think I've snapped myself a bargain :)
  9. Well if you need any help or anything, feel free to ask :)
  10. Well guys, I'm now actively seeking a WRX or STI wagon as I collect the GTA today, and now the scoob is far far too slow
  11. Finally the two beasts together for the 1st time, I do love how the GTA feels to drive though, totally smitten again!!
  12. You have to be very brave to own a GTA which tbh, has been totally reliable since I've had her :)
  13. Cheers boozy. I finally found some engine bay photos of standard WRX and STI engines showing how the turbo is fitted etc, sucks as I wanted to get a good quality system which I can swap out when I get my boosted Wagon, no hum! Cheers guys for replying anyway :)
  14. I noticed but annoyingly I can't find a cheap full system for a Sport, they all seem to be WRX or STI versions :(
  15. Mmm me likey very much :)
  16. Cheers fella and totally agree, most people think an oil leak means an expensive fix but if you have a good poke around, could work out dirt cheap or cost nothing at all :)
  17. Wibble, some s*x wee just came out! :D
  18. Slightly different this time. :) Basically my manifold is totally !Removed! so need a new one, now my weird and twisted train of thought is thinking to the future. ;) Is it possible to buy a whole manifold system to back box from a boosted GC8 Wagon and fit it to a GC8. Wagon Sport? The idea is so when I get a boosted GC8 Wagon, I can take the whole system off the Sport and fit it to the new car :D
  19. 1st major update for this. Spent most of Sunday under the car, having a look at the exhaust and trying to fix it as it was rattling and blowing more than a hooker in Essex..., after being under the car I noticed an oil leak and that the manifolds are actually !Removed!. So I fixed the exhaust where it's blowing but couldn't fix the manifolds as they are well and truly buggered, I now need to find a manifold but I'll put up another thread as I've got a crazy idea. I also fixed the oil leak which was no biggy, the sump plug was touch tight so kinda glad I found that issue now :) Next job? To sort out a whole new exhaust system :)
  20. I need a sun strip, where do I buy Gambit?
  21. Currently the GTA is having various things done including a front end respray to sort a few things, one is that I hit a fox early one morning and the ****** cracked the front lower spoiler in several places, was pulling bits of fox out for ages..., two is to get the lacquer sorted, was my fault as was to close with the power washer doh! And three is so I can fit a smaller number plate into the recess they have for Italy so should look spanking :) oh and the fox ripped off the brake pipes under the car grrr....... But had a call from the guy doing the work saying all the mechanical bits are done and is now in for the front end spray up :)
  22. Find a good tidy one with history showing belts and oil changes and you'd be set :) I'd do bad things to own a classic Giulia....
