Thank you for your reply. Will the engine need to come out or can it be done without taking it out? I have been told it needs to come out by 1 person and another said it doesn’t. Really appreciate the help mate

I’m a so sorry to jump on this thread (I’ve been following your progress over the last few years, great job) but I am just not getting any answers. So I have a 54 plate blob eye Wrx wagon EJ205 I’m just wondering the rough price I should expect to be paying for a new clutch and fitting. (Standard clutch replacement, like for like) I will delete this after I promise. I do apologise it’s a last resort! I’m pulling my hair out not having her on the road 🙂

I can’t find any information on my model code at all. It’s like it doesn’t exist or I’m being incredibly stupid 🙈 any information would be much appreciated

Runs sweet as a nut! Standard Engine, no mods. Spec includes: Xenon "angel eyes" Headlights, Leather Seats, Heated seats, Electric sunroof, Electric windows, Air conditioning, Isofix, Alarm, Immobiliser. Really don’t want to sell but the Mrs is nagging me because of the petrol costs. She would like a more "family friendly" car. I barely get to use her anymore due to work so I think it’s time to let her go. Front grill is non standard in pictures but will put original on and chuck the one in the pics in the boot and the original headlights. Few scratches on front bumper, nothing major, as shown in pictures. Wheels do need some TLC. Double din Pioneer and sub included in sale. Any questions please ask, no silly offers. Next MOT due 09/12/2019, Part service history, Silver, 5+ owners, £2,500

Hi guys Looking to upgrade my brakes on my gc8 98 import sti Maybe the whole set up, but discs and pads i definitely want to do. Front and back Looking for a rough cost for it as well. Was wondering what size front and back are and what pot. They are still standard set up and have not been upgraded. Wondering what you recommend and what set up you guys have? Cheers

blitz boots gauge. Im not very good with elcetrical stuff but my mate can do it for me, he knows what he is doing. Was looking to get oil pressure, oil temp and water temp set up. It hasnt been mapped but am planning to in time. Previous owner said that about the oil filter too. As for the undersealing i will get back to you on that

Previous owner done oil change every 3000 miles and told me to do the same. Will get it fully serviced twice a year. I want to keep it for as long as I can and keep it running sweet. Ahh I didn't realise that was cheap, and it's an import as well. Believe it or not I was well happy with that when they quoted me. There is a shell garage just down the road from me which is handy. Will definitely get a loyalty card now lol Also I want to get the 3 gauges put in as only have boost ATM, what's a rough cost of that and are they easy to fit?

Sorry mate for the dumb questions just wanted some sound advice! any tips for a complete amateur like me who has just bought his first scoob? i have paid 3 grand for this car so want it to last as long as it can aha Insurance companies just suck you for anything, im paying 150 a month :( but im only 24 with 2 years no claims. Like a stupid person, i was a named driver for the first 2 years as i had a 1.6 golf. Not fronting or anything stupid me

So basically if i wanna pop to the shop quickly, it wont be quick lol so if i do pop in the shop, maybe even doing the weekly shop which takes abit of time, will i always have to wait for it to cool down? damn insurance companies, i suppose they dont like the idea of the car running whilst unattended!
