  1. As stated the code in the handbook works to arm/disarm, but the sequence to change the pin code won't work
  2. Since realised that this is the case (car key is the fob also). I have the code in my handbook and it works. However it wouldn't let me change it. I keep getting fast flashes half way through!
  3. I have one if those keypads on the flap where my fuses are, in drivers knee roll, however I wasn't given any remotes with my car! Should I have fobs on a 2010 MY or is the system incorporated into my car key?
  4. Doesn't seem to make any difference to how it runs. No pops or bangs. When turned to softest setting it just vents at lighter revs, where as on hardest setting it only vents when you let off from higher boost levels. Actually doesn't seem any louder between the 2 extremes. If you gun it then both settings vent to atmosphere just the same.
  5. Ok will give it a run some time this weekend
  6. Not convinced yet! It rests on the TMIC bracket (see pic below) and even on 100% recirc it's not! If you give it a bit it vents to atmosphere still. !Removed! loud on 50/50 lol. Not tried it all the way vta yet.
  7. Ok fitted my Turbo Smart Dual Piston BOV
  8. You're quite right it seems that the new hatch wrx loses the classic boxer sound. Not sure about the manifold. I'm waiting for cobrasport to reply to me re: just a non resonated centre pipe, otherwise I'll get one made up by Powerflow or similar. Would still like to know first if it'll be ok without a remap though.
  9. Not too sure but I think if the pressure goes back into the turbo that's not very good for the turbo? Someone else may know more though.
  10. Yes, I'm lead to believe it will go rich for a very short moment. I managed to get one on ebay, it's an ex-display model from Scoobyclinic. Turbosmart, which can be 100% vta, 100% recirc, or anywhere in between, so I'll just wind it to be mainly recirculating, to get a small dump noise
  11. I don't think the prodrive on my 2010 is decat, centre and back box, I'm sure it's just a back box.
  12. Could I do a centre pipe swap without requiring a remap?
  13. I'm not looking for very loud, just some kind of noise, at the moment you can hear the engine over the exhaust, also as stated I'm happy with the prodrive back box.
  14. My car is too quiet! I don't want to go decat and as it's the Wrx-s it already has a prodrive back box and remap, which I'm happy with. I understand that when you change the exhaust you should remap but from the standard 251bhp prodrive map, I don't think £550 for a remap is going to be worth the increase. As it's already mapped for the back box anyway. Could I just fit a straight through centre pipe, without any issues?
  15. Thanks Salsa, no rush, think I've spent enough this month, new car, road tax, insurance!
  16. Picked my first Subaru up on Friday, all I can say is, what a car!
  17. Ok so the vinyl place is ignoring my message. Next time you order, could you please get a set of the light smoked overlays for me? As I pictured above (post 31) not the ones with the cut outs in. Thanks. Mart.
  18. I did ask the dealer to sort it before I picked it up, clearly couldn't be bothered
  19. Found it now thanks, the attachment strip had dropped out of the wing at the arch lip. I had to back the screw out, push the plastic tab back in then tighten the screw up again. Thanks for the help!
  20. As bumper removal is included in your guide, I thought I'd ask my question here. My front bumper is gapping slightly (dropped) at the end where it joins to the passenger side arch. I've tried lifting it up and it will sit flush whilst holding it up but just drops again when I let go. How exactly is it fixed? I assume it has some kind of attachment strip behind. I can't find and pics of what is behind the bumper, ie what it clips into. Any help would be really appreciated. I can post a pic if it helps?
  21. Well, 12,000 miles a year so it'll clock up really quickly. Waiting to look through service history first, cars just been serviced so may have just had a new air filter fitted.
  22. Thanks, the service schedule says to replace every 30k so not too bad. Probably go for the Cossie one to avoid any oil on maf problems later!
  23. Hi, I've read that the cosworth filter is a good upgrade, but how often does it need replacing, I assume that because it is not a filter that you oil, it will need replacing, probably as often as the oe one. At £34.80 delivered from Demon Tweeks, it's not bad but how long will it last? Cheers, Mart.
  24. Cool, just waiting for a local vinyl shop to get back to me about doing them in transparent vinyl. Think it's Hexis C4000. That they use. 30 delivered is a really good price but I'd probably mess the job up lol If they don't do the Hexis stuff, I'll ask Salsa if he can get me the smoked ones next time he makes an order, then get wrapwerx to fit them for me!
  25. I mean smoked overlays not lamp units. And by whole I meant without the reverse and fog cut outs. Found a pic now: http://m.ebay.com/itm/160696035944?cmd=VIDESC&gxo=true
