A better photo of the fairing for the Honda RS125 in Subaru Blue Steel -
From the album: Bikes
This is a poor photo of the bike the above faring is for before it was painted taken at a wet Pembrey circuit in February. Looks alot meaner than this in real life. Seel engine top end and very trick ignition system among other things make this a very quick bike. More mods coming on this one include a dry clutch and variable length exhaust to get the best of low end torque and top end power. Hoping it will be one of the quickest if not the quickest 125's in the UK. -
Honda RS125 fairing in Subaru Blue Steel

Just to keep it Subaru thought I'd include this pic. I painted this fairing in Subaru Blue Steel (Impreza RB5 colour) for the RS125 Honda my brother will be racing. It's combined with an anodised red colour seat unit for a bit of a twist on the traditional 1960's Honda race colours. Selected wrong photo I've got a better less blurry one. -

My 600 Gixxer. Yoshimura ECU, Arrow exhaust and some other tweeks when I use it for track days. -

My AR50 modded to go classic 50 racing. Sounds like an angry wasp. -

As requested by Gambit, this is a pic of my Ducati. I'll get a video of it running complete with popping on overrun posted when I get chance -
I've got Termignoni exhausts on the Ducati so it does sound nice, especially when it's popping on the overrun. I totally agree BoozyDave. It's more about hazard awareness and driving to limit points. On public roads if you can't stop before both sides of the road converge at the vanishing point you're going too fast. Sometimes that's way over the speed limit and sometimes it's well below. Which is where this zero tolerance bulls**t becomes more about money making than applying common sense and safety.

If you could get hold of the manufacturers tolerance for a speedometer which in an analogue gauge would be measured as a percentage of full scale deflection I'd like to see 1mph over the speed limit stand up in court. The number of people I see texting or dicking about with their phone while driving is far worse than someone driving over the speed limit but concentrating on the road.

Didn't realise f.a.g.s was a swear word. Must be an American swear filter ;)

Thanks for trying Gambit. I take my hat off to people like you who organise things for others. And don't start smoking, think of all the shiny bits you can buy for a few months of smoking 20 !Removed! a day. I'll more than likely still pop along to Japfest anyway.

Finally fixed up my brothers old Legacy after he abandoned it for the last year. New brake lines, new front brake caliper and a lot of freeing off of seized parts and it runs and stops. An MOT and a good clean and I've got a new work car. It's amazing how quick cars deteriorate when they're not driven.
-
I find it's the 40mph everywhere brigade that drive up your !Removed! in built up areas. Had someone crash into me when I had my Skoda who was tail gating me through a narrow country lane. When I asked her why she was driving so close, she said it was because she didn't know the road. Some people should never be issued a driving licence.

Can't convince my brother to bring his car I'm afraid. It's been standing for nearly a year and he doesn't want to commit in case we find any other problems from where it's been standing so long.
-
I'll speak to my brother tomorrow and see if I can get him to come along with his car. If not I'll be happy to split the 10th place 9 ways.
-
If you're pushed for numbers, I'll try and get my brother to register on here and get him to bring his Legacy along. We were both going to go together in my car but I'm sure I can convince him to bring his car as long as we can finish making up some new brake lines and get it MOT'd.

Knocked up this battery clamp for my brothers Legacy this morning from some offcuts I had laying about the garage. Just hope I measured the size of the battery correctly yesterday .
