right I have another small problem. I live on a tiny island called St. Helena. Its's a UK overseas territory but the few shops that are here don't import any good lacquer (certainly nothing that I could use when guitar building) so would clear spray paint do the trick? or will I have to import something? i really would prefer to do a job that would last....

its on the scoop and a little on the right hand side of the hood. the weave is fine. it's just sun blistering i think....

Hi all My 96 impreza wrx sti had a carbon fibre hood fitted by a previous owner. Now it seems as though the lacquer coating is blistering and peeling off. Does carbon fibre need a lacquer coating? How can I get it re-lacquered? I live in a very hot and sunny climate? perhaps some clear spray paint will do the trick? any help would be appreciated and i've attached a photo so you can see he damage. p.s ignore the L plates my girlfriend was driving that day.

actually i do have a question. i'm trying to find out the best way of re-lacquering my carbon fibre hood. where should i ask this? Also yeah our arport is being built and having seen the site of the runway we're gonna need plots with extensively large balls :)

I dont really know. There is an HKS inter-cooler system and it's currently getting new shock absorbers, a full set of brake disks and pads and new steering rod. the gauges are for oil pressure and boost pressure but were not re-connected after the crash but i'm gonna try and do that (may need new sensors). there is also an amazing raptor exhaust system that really opens up the noise. I also need to get some foglights.

Hi all My name is Andrew Turner i'm 18 years old and i own a 1996 Subaru Impreza Wrx STI. I live on a tiny island called Saint Helena in the middle of the South Atlantic Ocean. We have some great roads here for driving. there in poor repair but that dosent stop my scooby. i'm new to the club and subaru ownership so any guidance in terms of maintenance would be very appreciated. The previous owner treated it very rough and it has even been involved in a collision. But all in all i love this car and i'm excited to finally be around fellow car enthusiasts. I have attached a picture of it (although it wont have the badly done stickers much longer)
