When I heard the specs of the new rs I was worried but then I looked at it. It's awful, 5 door hatches look boring I can't understand why they don't make a 3 door option, this also let's down the a45 AMG and the rs3. It looks like it's going to be a great performance car but not a great deal better than the subaru. I still think the best thing coming soon from ford is the new mustang maybe ill try a 5.0l V8 in a couple of year :) It is a bit worrying that the hot hatch are catching up with and in some cases beating the new sti, I can only see subaru going 2 ways in the next couple of years and I think we will either see a heavily revised engine or the sti will be killed off like the EVO and what a shame that would be!

I won't be able to make the next 2 weekends so will have to give up the lead but it will be all the more fun trying to catch up

Yea I've had wheels and suspension from them in the past. I think the rota gravel look good in gold as well. I won't even have my car for another 3 week but already making a shopping list :) shame there will be no cash left for it :(

They know there stuff like they will look good as 9.5 wide they are the sort of wheels that don't look right with out the wide stance. Looking forward to seeing some pics of your car when you get them. Why not go really mad and go for a 19 x 9.5 so I will know if they will fit for future reference ;)

Yea good racing guys the cars seem pretty close but different characteristics so all good. Gonna have to try and talk you guys into a nascar race for a bit of fun those were mint on forza 4 :)

If you have a lower offset does that not bring the wheel out away from the arch as the mounting face of the wheel is closer to the centre line bringing the wheel out? I think that's why you would have an et55 on a 8.5" wheel or an et 35 on a 9" wheel. Dont know what anyone else reckons but i find S class is a bit much for a car that starts off as a C class I like them to feel like an improved version of the original car instead of losing all its character. If I was racing in the public lobbies I wouldn't use any of the subaru's above a B class let alone A

Also I wondered if 19's would be bad for the handling, it shouldn't make a huge difference in rolling radius of the wheel and tyre but I would hate to spoil the drive of the car a little bit for it to for a set of shiny wheels

I second revolution motorstore. They're big into their scoobs and will probably be able to recommend a few others. Also when you speak to them you feel like they take the time to make sure you get what you want. I've been looking at wheels maybe just dreaming cos I won't have much cash left over when I get the car but there was a few nice OZ 19's in subaru fitment 8.5 wide other than that I liked the speed line Turini and some of the bbs looked like they would look well on it, as it's a blue subaru it just won't look right without gold wheels ;)

Does everyone realise if you switch your handbrake and clutch buttons so the clutch is on the A button its no more difficult than manual on its own? Just press a and b for shift up or a and x for shift down.

Harder than I thought I've got a 1:23.2 for now could probably get down to a 22.6 if I could keep a clean lap. Will try again soon

I had 3 cars within 0.8 seconds of each other on the nurturing gp track on the first flying lap. 2650 lbs is only just below brz weight so grip wasn't an issue the blob eye still handled really well with a base tune. What's up with to enable parts dogconker? What if we had to share all the tunes we raced with? Is anyone also have a mess about on forza through the week?

I'm having a mess about on it now. You only have to look at the leader boards to see that PI doesn't make it fair for all cars. I was thinking what if there was a weight limit a bit less than the lightest car (the brz) but that the heaviest car (the hatch) could get down to, about 2650lbs is about right. Then if there was a power limit of maybe 360 to 400 bhp and maybe just say no drive train or engine conversions to keep it authentic maybe this would get all the cars pretty close. I'm gonna try this with the hatch and the brz just for a mess about anyway.
