Hey sorry to thread jack but i got a new clutch from scooby world: http://scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/subaru-installation.php#clutch Got the below clutch fitted with a new fly wheel Clutch - supply and fit Exedy 5 speed, Stage 1 Organic clutch - all 5 Speed Impreza Turbo models (2 litre and 2.5 litre models from 1993-2013) inc. plate and release bearing The clutch is extremely hard- as hard to press as the old clutch, also when changing the gears they sometimes don’t go in smoothly I can feel something resisting- after driving for a while I can also hear an electronic clicking when I press the clutch down. I phoned Scooby world and they said that this was all normal because the car was 4x4 the clutch was hard, and that I needed to wear in the clutch Done about 900 miles since the new clutch

Ok so i watched the smoke very carefully at 7am it was white lots of white smoke first start up i watched it for 5 minutes : At the 6th minute it became clear with no smoke, soot, i drove it normal for 5 minutes, then very hard, no soot or anything smoke related Looks like the black soot was indeed built up over all the hard driving

Ok I see so I can drive my car just not hard ? Man I got a long trip tommrow so I will be awake all night fixing this

So i paid my nephew to wash my car he used my pressure washer As I opened the Bonnet I noticed this Should I be worried ? Do I need to replace this ? Can I get away with driving it ?

Hi guys Yey or nay on the vortex generator I seen some with and without I want one but i read that they are easily removed and ripped off from the wind I have a roof spoiler to be installed and an STI style spoiler if i got one i would get an ebay one and then carbon wrap it

Hey guys just concerned by some black soot that’s built up over 2 weeks, theres no black soot when its on and when I am driving, I haven’t noticed any driving hard either. Its got a recirculating dump valve, straight de cat exhaust, remapped all done by Scooby clinic Should I be concerned that my engine or turbo is about to go or is it normal to build up over such short time ?

This is how i did it : First one took 6 hours to make and fit from scratch, the second one took 45 minutes to make and fit <_< Traced the orginal: Fitted matts: used existing wires, fitted spades on the cross over: done:

The wires went all the way back into the radio wiring loom, so i just wired the cross over back though the existing wires for the tweeters Thats the one i bought but then i found out that they did not work, it didnt fit so i ended up making one will post up my progress

I managed so solve all the problems listed my issue now is where to re wire the cross overs to : the stock OEM wires comes with the 6.5 and tweeters separately So i need two wires to wire the cross over to Do i use the wires below for the 6.5 or do i have to re wire the whole thing to the radio ?

So it looks like it’s quite hard to install the depo gauge I will get a professional to do it, how much do you think they will charge me ? I spoke to a few shops they say depo gauges are nasty cheap plastic and break and are not reliable, but I also can’t find any credible reviews on the gauges. But then again who wants to pay £350 for 4 gauges that takes up so much space.

So this topic has been done to death, lots of threads out there lots of information: I found out that in my Hawkeye newage if I wanted to change the front door speakers: I would need to use 6.5 inch speakers 1.Corsa C speaker spacer rings will work However i purchased the 6.5 inch corsa C speaker rings and they did not appear to fit the car, the holes were out of alignment not by 1-2 cm but massively, the adaptor was not even a close fit. I can trace the OEM and make one out of wood but don’t really have the time. 2. The OEM tweeter can be directly swapped out with the uprated one The OEM tweeter is about half the size of my new one, there’s no way it will fit, not unless I make a bracket of some sort (which is possible since I do stage props) 3.You can place the cross over box in under the door card I can find anywhere in the car where i can place the cross over box, the door card fits flush against the metal work am I missing the pocket of space ?. How can i secure my Sub Box to my boot ? My old car had ratchet holes so i used to just ratchet it in place i cant find any decient places to secure the sub box to my boot.

I have the the newest version Snooper Zero4, you need to update it weekly using a computer which is a pain Its saved me a few times picks up static cameras that my tom tom dont. The other day i was doing a very intense speed in the 00s and it went off like crazy just before a bend i slammed the breaks and moved into the middle lane, the car that was way behind me who thought he could race me (BMW m3) shot by and there was a police officer with a speed gun. They wont detect the gun on flats or on hills due to the range being 200 meters because the officers now point it at the road below the sensor where your licence plate is, and when the warning goes off its often too late to do anything. I have it as an extra security, rather pay £150 for the device and the line rental of £4 a month than be caught out accidently.
