  1. Exhaust sounds boss. Not too loud on idle and does not drone on long journeys on cruise control.
  2. Nothing on Tarmac Sportz :(
  3. Ok since i have been living at the Nürburgring and lapping daily the subaru has been quite remarkable. Only current issue is the gearbox yet again! Good job it has warranty. Can anyone let me know how easy there 5 speeds are to get in reverse? This is actually a pain in my back side as it takes several attempts to put it in reverse. I was thinking about putting a vf34 turbo off a sti on to my wrx but the prices seem silly considering the price of rotated turbo kits. So the subaru is back off to the UK to get the box back out and sent off again aswell as a uprated helix clutch so no more clutch judder or deceleration noise
  4. Let us know how you get on. I have the same issue aswell
  5. Ok so an update as its been a month. On my last ring trip the gearbox started to pop out of 1st and 3rd so this is now out and off to be refurbed. I have collected parts ready to go on when its back these include: Fidanza lightened flywheel Perrin wing risers Goodridge clutch line Rear DS2500 pads Perrin fuel rail Injector dynamics 725cc injectors Cosworth pitch mount It is all coming together quite nicely now and can not wait to move it to the ring.
  6. Fixed it haha New fuel pump did not come with new seals or the correct filter so we fitted it anyway and today struggled to start so the old seals were knackered so we bodged it for now to get me to the ring and back and next week will get on to the company for new seals and a correct filter
  7. How much is this costing if you dont mind me asking, you can inbox me if you dont want to publicise?
  8. So you are closing up the water jackets?
  9. Whats weak about them?
  10. I will be keeping with the 2.5. I do not see the point in changing to the 2.0 when i have spent so much on this one already.
  11. Seems to be alright for me. Plus its getting forged over xmas when i get 3 months leave
  12. Whys that?
  13. I hope not. Was going to look into getting the gearbox refurbed before i move to the ring as it will be lapped daily so would like the peace of mind. What clutch kits do people reccommend? And is it worth doing a flywheel aswell ?
  14. Clutch is only 3000 miles old
  15. Yeah gearbox oil is fine. Exedy stage 2 clutch was a bit of a regret as its really noisy when decelerating and cruising.
  16. Hi everyone, lately i have been experiancing some problems with my hatch WRX. Symptoms are: 1) Hard to engage reverse, takes several attempts 2) Sometimes pop out of first gear 3) When changing gear i get a vibration through the pedal when it engages Whats the cause and solution? Do you think the gearbox needs to be rebuilt? If so i would love to go STI 6 speed but seems like a lot of money.
  17. Cars not exactly show standard, body wise it is being neglected until the performance work has been done.
  18. I will be popping up but not on a stand so the WRX will be chilling on the grass somewhere. Ill come by the stand and check the motors out
  19. Only thing i have at the moment. Import tax came in at £55. Which is awesome. PSI Proformance marked it down as half its value for cheaper import tax.
  20. Do you think its big enough?
  21. Thanks jay. Should be interesting
  22. Was ok i did not lap in the subaru was too knackered the first day i got there, it is a long drive from Le Mans to Nurburg. I took out a Scirocco TSI the next two days which was fun. The subaru is going to be getting lapped every day at the ring and i am lucky enough to have secured a job there from august :)
  23. Ok update. So bunch of parts waiting to be fitted which include: Grimmspeed Intercooler Deatschwerks 340 fuel pump Mishimoto thermostat Mishimoto X Line Rad Mishimoto Fan shroud EBC Ultimax UCR rear discs TRW rear pads Got another trip to the ring next weekend so hopefully get it all fitted for then
  24. go onto trackerfit.co.uk and they have loads of different options, all prices are supplied and fitted just with no yearly subscription. i have a RAC trackstar 470 and is awesome. I disconnected the battery for a few minutes and within seconds i got a phone call asking if the car was safe.
  25. Ok shes mapped now :). I need a new intercooler anyone know of any kits relativley cheap?
