Fairly early, I check it pretty regular. Never ran badly or anything like that, just used it. Haven’t had similar issue with others. The Petronas I’m using this time round doesn’t have any of that issue.

I used it’s last time round and car seemed to use it at an alarming rate. Went through my litre top in no time then switched it out quick.

In the back of my mind I thought I might be imported. Now the tricky thing here is where you stand with insurance. Dvla register as wrx (UK model?) but it’s actually an sti import. You don’t want to get caught out if you need to claim. They will wriggle out of anything given the chance. On the questions you obv said it wasn’t an import when you insured it. I’d give the dvla a call and go through it with them. Obv the dealer didn’t declare it was an import?

Welcome! There do seem to be some issues around that time but I don't know enough about it to comment properly. Hopefully someone can shed more light on it for you but hope to see you around more one way or another.
