Hi guys and girls I posted a few times a couple of months back but I never ended up getting the Scooby I was supposed to get due to family problems. Anyway I'm collecting my classic wrx sti wagon on Fri and I'm so excited. I have had a few scoobs before but they were very cheap and nasty examples. This one Im Getting is very clean and a lot better . I guess you learn from your mistakes and at least I knew to check for certain things like the rusty rear arches that scoobys suffer from. I'll post some pics Fri after I have been out and about in it and once the Cheshire cat smile settles down.

I have has a look at the front and it's a little different it has a few lines in the grill so prob a version 3 but it is a full Wrx jap import.

I'm waiting on some pics of it off the guy and I'll post some up if I can work it out lol. its completely standard at the moment but at least it means its probably been less ragged about, its only done 100,000 miles and that's a mixture of kilometers as well so prob around 70-80,000 miles. Its got different alloys but not sure I like them.

It's a 1997 wagon Wrx import. I'm not to great with understanding all the different versions lol.

Cheers stants. I just contacted the guy who is gonna wrap it and he said that's the exact colour he has been looking at. He said its hard to get but 100% he can do it. Looking like its gonna be midnight purple 3 if I don't get taken in by performance mods.

Bit like mine really. I just can't say no to a turbo at a good price lol. I got my misses an ml 320 4x4 so she is happy and ill be happy when I get something with a bit more grunt !!

I like your wagon Matt it's really nice. The 1 I'm getting Is silver but gonna get it vinyl wrapped eventually.

The guy I'm getting it off Is a mate of mine and he has driven my cars and swears the wagon is even better. I will soon find out lol.

That's my exact 2 faves that I have narrowed it down to. Not sure whether to go for performance upgrades first tho ! Like 440s and a hks air filter and bov with a nice straight through exhaust and a remap. Or just go for looks. I think performance will make me smile longer tho.

Hi I am buying a Wrx wagon next week and just wondered what you all think of the handling on the wagons ? I have had 4 scoobys before but only the saloons. The wagon I am getting ata Great price or I would hold out for the saloon again. Thanks guys.

Hi guys and girls I wanna get my wagon vinyl wrapped but I'm stumped on the colour to choose. It's currently silver but I was thinking of maybe a nice purple or unusual blue. Any ideas ? Thanks.

thanks guys like i say im very new to all this just trying to learn, it had a re built engine in 2012 with td05 turbo, its only daily use that she gets used for so only looking to run around 400 bhp really. thanks again.

no sorry the actual plastic unit i had the air con removed and the plastic got snapped ill get a pic up they had one on ebay for 25 quid but i just missed out :(

i have a baileys dv on my 96 wrx its not very loud but does give off a nice chatter i might look into a hks or forge myself by reading this. :)

hi guys im new to the subarus i have a 1996 classic wrx, its running around 320 bhp with basic mods like hks air filter dump valve and straight through exhaust. how can i get more bhp ? i got quoted 600 pound for a new ecu and a re map what gains would i get? and is this a good price? im in east sussex. i have seen apexi ecu,s on ebay for around 350 pound whats my best option ?. thanks guys and girls.
