    Beefing up an Impreza

    Hi guys, very new here and to the whole world of changing anything on a car so forgive my ignorance! I have just got an Impreza wrx hatch (regestered as 2009 but after some rummaging on the internet I think it's a 2008 model) I spend a lot of time on very beaten up roads, Forrest and fire roads so am thinking of maybe beefing up the car a bit so I'm not scared of breaking it! Oh and a bit of extra power would always be nice! It's my everyday car so I'm not looking for anything too mad but I'm curious to what you guys will suggest! Cheers
