so is this a standard ecu ? or do i have to remove the case to expose what ? or take picture of inside...dont no what open source is

heres what i have fitted to car now stainles steel manifold 3" unequal stainless steel up pipe 2.5" 3" straight through with 5" exit front mount intercooler k+n cone air filter just need to do my home work on what i need before i go to the jolly green monster to get the 330 bhp .....i have never been to see or had a remap seen some short clips on youtube but they are not very clear....not sure if i get an ecu from green monster included in price slightly confused lol stanton500 yeah thats a good idea but if i have it done i would go to him not sure if price i been quoted is for him to come to me lol has anyone had remap before with same mods as me ?? if so what diffrence did you notice

OK thanx guys to confirm i got an email from green monster in his words Hi, firstly the ecu has no immobiliser or alarm in it. a proper 400hp requires and engine rebuild, a replacement gearbox, a bigger turbo, plus lots of other parts.. your better off heading for 330ish bhp which is safe on engine and gearbox. Requires either an esl daughter board at £640 or an after market ecu such as Alcatek in order to map the car. Thanks Simon so with the mods i have already can i achieve 330 bhp need a fuel pump and injectors then i think im ready oh and bigger throttle body and resinator delete under bonnet ..then.i assume £640.00 for ecu and mapping am i right lol

car is 1994 wrx. impreza....i dont no if car has been mapped before i wouldnt like to guess ...is there any way of telling ? i will look at ecu tomoz

ok guys thanx first i better locate ecu to see what i have not sure were it is but should find it and i dont want huge power gains 350 sounds great and i need a upgrade fuel pump ...all the gaskets are subaru parts on the engine and exhaust just waiting for my son to do rocker cover and couple of others he done some last weekend .... and i need a 3 port selonoid how much do you think these will cost me as need to make a plan if you like ..get all in place ready then fit when i am ready for remap.... just an idea on cost before remap

hi guys i have been searching around and dont see a meet for kent and was thinking of arranging one on a sea front in the summer maybe with bbq........got a couple of places in mind were you can park and have bbq its just a thought but hey be nice to have one in kent thought if can get word out may get interest

lol ....as above just need to no if im heading the right way so far i have added new front mount intercooler tdo5h turbo stainless steel manifold and up pipe ....going with next step up injectors think they are 440cc ...and want to remove the air resinator under bonnet....but just need to make sure theres nothing else i need to do before remap as want everything in place i dont want serious amount of power gain but some would be great in process of changing all gaskets rocker cover ect got about 8 gaskets all genuine subaru thats a job for next weekend weather permitting so if theres anything i have forgot can you advise thanx not sure how much remap is been told it is around £350 im in kent so not sure if anywere local yet no research done but all advice will be great

i have no air box as have a k n cone filter.... but big black donut box i want to delete it...if poss

hi gambit i defo would like to attend this show ....i to like gem have doubts my car is good enuff to be on a stand at present but no better place to be get lots of ideas chat with club members over a couple of beers...so would like to attend buddy .........is this show a single day can i camp any were day before thinking bbq couple of beers

mine is a 1994 wrx quite old but i use castrol magnatec no smoke suits my car fine no issues but it may not be the same for your car mine is in process of mods being added slowly .....so i may have to change oil im not sure

yeah i get were you are coming from maybe it would be a little to much gold ..... mmmmmmmmmm how about black fmic with some nice gold colour mesh mmm im not to sure i am just throwing ideas around at the moment......... just got a quote for my wheels to be striped and dipped in black with gold wet look carbon fibre £85.00 a wheel the sample looks good but thinking still need to get the look i want right first time need any other parts to match in

has anyone ever painted a fmic ? thought not ....i have been looking about and need help as i may repeat i may paint fmic gold as im keeping the black and gold theme going and think if done well it would look great only when wheels are done at the same time at same place .........just another random idea im playing with

yes yes yes that is defo what i would like ...... not the animal print but something different .....looking at the proccess there does not look a lot of labour involved any idea on the cost for those wheels in the video with the animal print

some thing you guys may be able to help with im looking for a decal that runs along bottom of doors on to rear bumper my car is black and im looking for something in gold any ideas were i can view some pics to get some insperation cheers
