  1. yup thats your headers, if your lucky its the gasket, unlucky you have a crack. Dont get the silver looking perforated gaskets they are dog poo, get the genunie ones or ones similar
  2. Have you tried selling them on ebay
  3. Sorry headers means exhaust manifold, it sounds like its blowing where it meets the cylinder head, also check your spark plugs are tight.. if you have swapped plugs recently one may not be tightened up enough. First test jack the car up, put it on stands, handbrake on out of gear and start it up, have a look and hear by the manifold, if it is not there try the plugs. Your to far away for me to pop up and check for you
  4. I had a blow from my passenger side header sounded like that, but alot quieter. Mine was a gasket issue, yours sounds like its possibly cracked
  5. more I hear it i recon its headers
  6. sounds like broken headers, hear it on blip of the throttle? if its big ends its usually there on cold start and hits loud at 2.5k onwards
  7. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=201666644242&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT#ht_500wt_1414 mine are on ebay
  8. They are Rota grids in drift bronze 18 * 9.5j fat as foook
  9. Thanks they dont catch at the moment, I have to get coilovers, arches rolled and camber to make sure all will sit nice.
  10. Treaded myself to some 18x9.5j rota's and a splitter
  11. Jack the car up, put on stands, drivers side of the radiator (bottom) there should be a drain plug, get big container to catch old stuff, make sure its cool, take off expansion tank cap then undo the drain plug. once its all out put plug back in and refill.
  12. Sounds like a lack of coolant change, more than likely rust and deposits gathering, people before could just use tap water as coolant, best bet is dont use engine flushes as they take out weak gaskets, but empty system, fill it with water and run for 10 mins, cool it down, drain it and fill with proper coolant, give it a few hundred miles then drain and swap, hopefully this will have cleared any coolant abuse
  13. they work ok over 300bhp, no reason not to have one if u want it but would recommend a rr check to make sure fuelling isn't to messed up
  14. every car is different, it will not be set to yours the best, if your lucky it will run a little rich, unlucky and your lean. Please just save and get it remapped propperly
  15. silly question, did you have the error codes reset as it will still show
  16. if you kept the old bits I would swap them back 1 by 1 and see if 1 makes a distinct difference, cheapest way at the moment
  17. pictures and price please

  19. What about "Federal 595 RS-R" they look good and are a reasonable price from most places like Camskill. Thinking of getting a set for myself
  20. Very Nice, just one thing you got an up rated top mount intercooler not a front mount, but still nice power
  21. That sounds like its coming from the turbo itself. Turbo shot like sav said
  22. I've not noticed any issues with mine so far. Aerial's are about £20 new from Halfrauds. Its just hassle fitting it.
  23. easy way to see if it needs just a re-gas, pup the pressure switch off the pipe work near the rad, short out the 2 pins with a bit of wire, start car and turn on the ac, if the clutch engages then its low pressure meaning try with a regas and pressure test
  24. Seen this done to a 2016 sti last Saturday, it was stupidly loud. was at scooby clinic and their opinion was that due to 0 back pressure this would actually reduce the performance.
