Haha I've scratched bottom lip on bumper so maybe I can get a new one at same time on them :p haha Rather them hit pot holes and do minor damage than screw an engine up tbh. I worked at Renault in my younger days and drove someone's Clio 192 into the ramp scuffed the ally (I was 17) he wasn't to impressed and my boss gave me a Royal bollocking for costing the garage £500 for new wheel and tyre :/ **** happens lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ok so I get my 2004 blob eye wrx back in next few days after having a 2nd hand engine and turbo (from grade a) installed. Old engine big end bearing gone unknown as to full extent of damage caused. So what do I do with my old engine and turbo?! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ok guys..... Garage that's putting my engine in have said the steering rack is bolted to the subframe so subframe can't just be left off Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Did the good old sniff test couldn't smell a thing. It's really strange. Especially for garage to say was no water when heater was still working perfectly. Will check all parts that still remain when new engine in and keep a close eye on it. Also find someone to strip old engine down see how many problems it had Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

None what so ever at service, mechanic said there was no water whatsoever and he put 4 litres of coolant in, heater was working perfect so can't believe there was "no" water there. He was trying to say it was the head but again no oil in water or water in oil. That engine is out now and new one being put in anyway. Just don't wanna have a water leak again when get it back :/ will get garage to check ends of the rad and see if there anything obvious when engine out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
