  1. Ok so the last 2 weeks iv been trying to get to the bottom of it, some times it will boost up to 0.7bar wich is wot it is ment to be and out of nowhere it will drop to 0.5bar and go no higher. You can start the car and when you rev the engine you can feel the boost control solenoid clicking and other times you start it it won't there r no fault codes on the ecu. if anyone can help that would be great
  2. That's right and that's how it should be done. And you are right thay will learn
  3. Thay are not a specialist if thay our only do a vacuum leak test. I am a air conditioning specialist and every car that I do is pressure tested to 10 bar it is also how we look for leaks, so to be honest why thay are only doing a vac test I do not no.
  4. Does anyone know where the ecu gets it main earth from on a 1994 impreza classic
  5. now iv had the car for about a month its seems it is starting to clear up it still had it moments wot could do this???
  6. it was under the boost controller pack
  7. that is only for R134a in cars this dose not inclued R1234yf of R1234ze forgot to say but it should definitely not lose more than 15% in 1 year no matter wot gas its on and if it is you should think about getting the leak found try and avoid people putting UV dye in there as it is not good for the compressor if you live close to Cardiff i can find the leak for you Phill
  8. the price has just come down it was £350 a go but the gas was £900 for 5kg its now more like £50 for 5kg i can do it for you but im in Cardiff

  15. Ok something odd happend today driveing back from work today and the boost flue up to 1 bar and the fual cut came in it kept doing that for about 2 miles then it went back to normal at 0.5 and no matter what I did it would not go above that and then as I got close to the house it did it again So confused

  17. Right changed them today drove home from work and it has got better but there was a hair line crack on 1 pack down the side would that be the problem do you think, Phill

  19. no mods yet and plugs and packs r next on the list as iv only had the car for 1 month now so i don't no what they r like, iv had a look for air leaks cant seem to find any, would it be a good idea to get it smoke tested?
  20. it seems to get a bit lumpy around 4000rpm and then clears up from 5500rpm but if you have been giving it some for a couple of miles the boost pressure seems to drop off and the blow off is not so loud, now i have already changed the o2 sensor and knock sensor and it seems to of helped. Phill
  21. Could you test the solenoid and see how many ohms it is as im not to sure if it is dead or not now and i need a v1 or a drop in replacement as im not going into to mapping yet, thanks Phill
  22. Ok will do that tonight thanks once again Phill
  23. It is a 3 port and dose anyone have the map sensor as well thanks Phill
  24. Well mine is testing open line so I think the coil has gone but I wonted to put a better 1 in or do you think that is pointless thanks Phill
