Hi I recently lost my only key to my classic, i have finally managed to get in, is their anyway I can get a key cut without a key to cut and to get it programmed to my car? Is their a code somewhere I can find to get from?

No i fully understand i wear glasses so get dazzled by bright lights. I do t want to do something i dont like myself so opted for a brighter 100w bulb and not hids

Ive ordered some 100w yellow bulbs just so it takes the dazzle away in other drivers eyes. The ones currently in are 60w but seem really dim. High beam works fine. but like you say i dont want to be a driver with full beam on all the time lol not only that yellow goes with the car 😬

Thanks as long as they dont melt as a few people said they do locally. Yes its the sport special. h4 i believe ive seen the kits on ebay for around£17-£50 so may aswel give it a try and just keep an eye on the lenses. Not sure wjat bulb is in mine at the min but went out last night and just struggled to see. Full beam worked fine just low beam

Anyone know anything about hid headlights or reccomend a brighter bulb for impreza classic? The ones i have may aswell be off at night their useless. Ive heard mixed things about hid's some say good some say they melt the lens any help would be much apreciated

Hi all im looking to get the 3 rear windows tinted on my classic but do they stick well means their pillowless doors? i fear they will peel when opening and shutting the windows onto the rubber seals

Yes sanded down then used plastic primer, then sprayed the yellow and then laquored. Lot of work but end finish is good worst bit was sanding down in all the small gaps quite time consuming

Thanks it looks really good the photos dont do it justice... Just trying to tidy it up as i plod along.... Just the front bumper to prep and paint next as old owner put stickers all over it but pulled paint off in some places

Yes all colour coded just need to get seats cleaned all in now and looking good ill upload a pic later as it was dark by the time i got round to fitting all last night

T5 bulbs

I changed the instrument panel too they was the same t5 bulbs apart from the fuel temp gauge which is a t10 very easy to do took about 15mins

I changed mine and to be fair was a pain in the bum. The bulbs are t5. You have to undo the handbrake cove and remove gear gater and the centre plastic just pulls off.. Then their is more screws to the heater dials.. I struggled to get that out so turned it around where it was and only just got to the bulbs. Really fiddly someone else might know a easier way all in all about 30minute job with lots of swearing

Started to tidy up my car what do you all think? the silver was drastically painted poor by previous owner and it was irritating me. So i decided to buy the paint code same as car in cashmere yellow and paint them that way.. I thought of black but thought that would be boring

Yes it was a pain to do to be honest very fidley. I used the same t5 bulbs that are in the instrument panel. But the light reflecters (plastic tube that reflects light) next to the bulbs are only half their. The other have was missing i guess who ever done them before broke them as the bulbs i replaced was coloured in with what looks like permanent marker

Changed the heater controls too but they dont seem very bright in their

I dont have a dimming range on this car their just on The bright switch however dont work the clock stays the same brightness so will look at the switch itself when i replace the bulbs behind their. Previous owner has messed about with all the dash sprayed it silver which has bubbled so going to pull it off and re do it all and check all wires as the heater control sometimes dont work either think loose connection. Also do the side lights stay on front and rear when engine is on? I know the parking switch works when keys are out but for some reason even when engine is running the lights are alway on despite the switch being off

If you order them make sure their 5mm wide at bottom as i struggled to find them as some are 9mm and wont fit

The more i look at it the better its becoming. I wasnt sure at first but its starting to look nice. I want the front fogs yellow with yellow sidelights and headlights too i think that will look smart means she is yellow

@stants are the are the bulbs in the heater control the same as these before i take it apart

I ordered them off amazon and they came within 3 days so delivery was really good. i plan on doing heater controls too just ran out of time last night.
