  1. @dark snarfthat sucks!!! Sorry to hear that. Good luck & hope it's all up and running soon. :-)
  2. Thanks guys. How do you reprogramme it, is it easy? Haha cheers
  3. Hey guys. I bought my WRX turbo a month ago. It's the PPP from practically new. Have all the invoices, the certificate etc. All legit. But took the footplate off earlier to have a look at the ECU and noticed it looks very stock to me. It's Denso. Has no prodrive sticker / label on etc. Has black marker pen on top, saying WRX03 then a number. I will attach pictures. Can anyone confirm this is stock. Or possibly the PPP. Thank you. Appreciated :-) Alex
  4. OK cheers mate. I think it might be turbo on its way out though. It smells like burning oil, thinking turbo bearing / seal going. Letting oil through exhaust. it seems hesitant sometimes (turbo) boost. I might get it looked at. :-) thanks again.
  5. Hi guys. I'm starting to get a little worried & paranoid now, so thought I'd see if anyone could rest my mind.. I gave my WRX an oil change last week. And oil filter & air filter. I put Millers CFS 10w40 fully synthetic racing eng oil in, which is expensive and supposed to be very good. I have noticed now that once the engine has first warmed up, if I'm sitting at traffic lights etc on idle, I can suddenly see lots of smoke. I realised last week that its my car. It's not blue. It's white / grey. Smells strong (racing smell). It really fires out for a while. But it does it a few times, after 20 minutes driving or so, it won't do it anymore. It also doesn't do it when, only was on idle. :/ any ideas? Thanks guys
  6. Sweet. Cheers bud.
  7. Ok brilliant. So what time do I arrive there? And how will I know where to park up? :) thanks again
  8. Thank you mate. :-) so yeah I'm new to all of this. What's the drill? I will either be alone or with my missus. So, do I get tickets on the website? Or at the gate? When do I arrive, where? I am a little noob right now haha. Any details, info, advice, guide etc is much appreciated. Cheers guys :)
  9. Hi mate. Honestly, if it's standard with no PPP upgrades etc.. Then you should be fine with regular unleaded RON 95. Do 97-98 every 4-5 tanks maybe, good for the engine. But if your going to mod it, get the prodrive package or cobb pack, any big upgrade with remap etc... I'd advise to only fill up with super unleaded 97-100. :-) enjoy
  10. Hi guys. Im new to this forum / page etc. I only live 30-40 minutes from beaulieu, and im really interested in coming to this event in my 53 plate WRX Turbo PPP. If I bring a friend or two with me in my car, do they also pay £10.00 each or normal fee...? Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers. Also, do you know any Scooby 'clubs' in Hampshire I could join. I am in Southampton. Cheers :-)
