  1. 63000 ? Ha "Direct form Police been some kind of CID car we think but ot been used a lot!" They think?. I know that police cars are run nearly 24/7 so any milage they give you need to double it after all miles counter only increases when vehicle is moving, and they idle em a lot. And that price dont seem that low then.
  2. Have you thought about forester with a turbo ?
  3. Im seen a drop on my forester from 27mpg to about 25 I use tescos 99. Its a petrol btw.
  4. We put it on a list as +1 right gambit ?
  5. Dont let your remote get cold or you will have problem unlocking your car. Took me 20 button presses to finally get my forester unlocked. Works perfect when not cold.
  6. Thats a shame, may I ask whats more important ?
  7. Wow that must be high performance parts then at that price.
  8. Excellent. More please.
  9. [emoji122] I think you should do mine also.
  10. You should not need to put any load on it. The car should keep battery charged regardles.
  11. Forgot to say. Smart alternators pulse charge battery thats why you should use calcium ones.
  12. 1) advice is to let it idle for a minnute after high speed driving. Eg above 50 mph. 2) yes anything after 03 will probably have smart charging alternator. They do not charge all the time and only come on when load is put on electric system Eg. A/c , headlights. Etc. Should have calcium battery. 3) yes it is best to keep a standard bov or recirculating aftermarket one eg. Forge one 4) look at the VIN plate it will say it on there. Hope it answers your questions.
  13. Yes m8 215 are good profile. If you want to get better cornering you can go 225. And its a sweet looking motor in superb condition by the looks of it well done. And Welcome to SOC.
  14. Welcome onboard SOC wagon [emoji106]
  15. My 03 sti came with 225/45/17 and according to sticker you can either have 225/45/17 or 215/45/17
  16. Best wishes for a new Year from all the staff and me. Have a good one.
  17. Its a wize choice. 17" are 45. So with 19" you would be talking 35 or 40 which is nothing. I myself fing 17" to be a perfect size anyway. Hope you get it sorted soon.
  18. How deep pot holes we talking ? Also when you put 19s did you put lower profiles tires ? Your back box looks high enouth so it should not be hitting anything.
  19. Classic and new age are different. My 01 forester classic is to brim and that was done by a motorsport specialist who knows subarus. On the other hand my 03 sti is half full.
  20. Yes m8. It needs to have coolant in it when its cold.
  21. Expansion tank is plastic and sits next to battery. Header tank is metal and sits next to intercooler area. Like pete said airlock is a massive possibility on turbo subarus.
  22. Hmm mayby its just me but isnt that U cut out is suppose to be for actenuator arm ?
  23. I personally would aim for 300 bhp as a good reliable mark.http://www.andyforrestperformance.co.uk/58932.html Hope this helps.
  24. My forester cluch been slipping for past month. Still driving ok as long as I take it easy. To change clutch on uk forester takes 5.5 hours. Should be about £550 including exedy clutch and labour. Note: does not include flywheel if needed. Which is around £270 or so, I believe
  25. Im a definite yes for it. Il make sure to book holiday on them days to make sure I have em off.
