Its not that paint its difficult. Its that it requires if I remember correctly 7 layers of paint plus laquer etc.

Heat 7 are for stock and lightly modified engines. Heat 8 are for medium to heavily modified engines.

Here is price breakdown. Flyweel skim. £80, exedy clutch £180,+ 6 hours @ 60 = £620. That is a minimum price to look for obviously will be more if you add the dreaded vat and any other bits. As long as rest of car is sound I would pay it. Even if you sell it and get another one there is no guarantee you wont have to shell out a lot more.
