Right just a quick update, lowering springs should be here this week and on by the end of the week.
Will take some before and after pics as well.
Front calipers painted red to match the theme.
Rear callipers to be done when doing the suspension.
when I had my classic and was going down this route, the apexi ecu was the one I was going to go for as It seemed to be the one with the most options that could be changed and remapped with the more mods you put on the car.
yes I've driven it mate. its very nice to drive and very different to the forester. you can def tell that the forester is basically a impreza underneath the body as everything is a much more tighter drive if that makes sense.
the outback is more of a luxury drive and a much softer ride as its a lot quieter and it absorbs all the road bumps and pot holes.
it pulls well even though it hasn't got a turbo on it and sits at 90 very happily.
as a added bonus when we went to get it we wondered y the spare wheel was in the boot and not in its recess under the boot floor.
when we looked we was pleasantly surprised to find a lpg tank.
we need to get it serviced but this will be awesome for fuel economy.
Could anyone help with some buying tips and what to look out for when buying an outback?
I'm looking at getting one for my misses and don't want to be buying a heap.
I'm looking at a 2002 model, 2.5,manual.
All advice much appreciated.
Thanks
