But same colour as a type R. They started out as a turbo. They also have the Turbo 2000 AWD sticker on from factory. On the bottom left of the boot. Then the RB5 sticker to the right. They were built as a tribute to Richard burns, have an individually numbered plaque in the middle and have quite a few differences to the standard turbo. There were only 444 made and according to how many left there are only 170 on the road. Out of the 170 left there are quite a few 'dogs too' with the typical Subaru arch problems etc and a lot in need of TLC. I looked at several a few years ago when I purchased mine and have seen what's sold since on the internet. Bar the 3,000 mile example that recently sold by Rich at appreciating classics I don't think you would find a better example but maybe/ certainly on par. Mine also is very low owners, reasonable mileage and in very good condition. It also has full Subaru service history. It has always been garaged and stored correctly. Always maintained regardless of cost. There are also 376 Impreza P1 left on the road according to how many left, 32 22B's which are obviously in a different price bracket & X amount of thousand standard Turbo 2000 on the road. Making the RB5 quite a rare car. If the RB5 was a 3dr Subaru I believe it would have been much more sought after but as said it was a tribute car to a rally legend, with only so many made. Unsure what it's worth. I just know the guy sold his ok eBay. It was advertised at £10,500 and he took £9800 allegedly. Which one is it up for £8k? I've known of them go upwards of 5K There was a 90,000 mile car with the PPP pack that sold for £9800 in similar condition. Obviously it was lower millage then.

I am considering parting with my RB5. I have recently purchased a P1. I have owned the car for a number of years. It has covered 108k, very good condition. The arches are perfect and have never been touched. It's also in great condition underneath. Starts first turn of the key every time. I have seen a couple that have sold but prices seem to be all over. It has been stood for a while, I think in my ownership I have only covered a few thousand miles. It has always been looked after and never abused. Any thoughts, opinions would be appreciated. Thanks Guys, kind regards. Gareth.

Impreza sport for sale could be a project or used as spares/ breaking. Unsure when the car was last run. millage is approx 160 from memory. Interior will clean up really nicely. All of the major components are there only things removed were spotlights, door surrounds maybe a few other little bits. Front bumper and the lights etc are in the car. Spoiler is present etc open to sensible offers.

How many left suggests that there are less than 200 still on the road.

So I have number 280. Where are the rest? I have looked on the RB5 owners club website but there doesn't seem to be an awful lot of activity. Just curious. Regards. Gareth.

To be honest I think all classic imprezas have started to rise. Itll be interesting to see where they stop. I could have bought a beautiful P1 when I bought my RB5 for £6.5k. I know the value of cars I just wondered what people thought they may reach in the next five years say for instance. 22B is a phenomenal car! They look absolutely superb! But would you go out and spend 70k-100k on one? The P1 has definitely followed and increased in price. The RB5 is starting to increase too. But then again it wasn't so long ago you could pick a half decent 2000 Turbo up for £1000.00. They're all going upwards. For the time be though number 280 won't be going anywhere, I love her too much!

I bought my RB5 approx 5 years ago now. I know what I paid for it but have absolutely no idea what it's worth now. Prices of all classic Impreza's are rising and good examples will always attract potential buyers. Are they a good investment though? At the time of purchase this wasn't my intention. I bought to use it as a toy and enjoy on a weekend. Is there anyone else considering parking there impreza up as investment for the future? How high do people think prices will rise and for which models? Thanks. Gareth.
