  1. I'm not sure but the one thing I've discovered this past week in my search to find the right turbo is that most people who don't opt for the bigger turbo end up regretting it eventually and go bigger again. Even if you don't use it to its full potential initially. I started looking at a td04 19t hybrid for my 2.0ltr wrx but then after reading people's experiences decided on a td05 16g. But then on further reading decided to go for the td05 16g evo 3. But then after further reading it seemed that the evo 3 was so close in size to the 18g that the opinion was to go for that. I'm finally sticking with that I think although there are opinions that a 20g is also feasable. I have no intention of using the 18 to its full potential at the moment but at least I know the option for more power is there. All turbos seem to be available with various inlet sizings and A/R ratios which I don't fully understand but think it allows bigger turbos to have less lag/and more drivable. Hope this helps. 2. Not sure but I've read the td06 is well suited to the 2.5. in a 20g. Sent from my HUGO-H1 using Tapatalk
  3. There's a 2nd hand td05 on gumtree for £60 or nearest offer. In Blackpool. Sent from my HUGO-H1 using Tapatalk

  5. Not sure on the vf's. Seem to remember reading somewhere " not re-buildable but could be wrong. TD's are with Various options available. Billet wheels etc. Sent from my HUGO-H1 using Tapatalk
  6. There's been 2 on eBay in as many weeks and I think that one went for about £250. The thing that puts me off is you just don't know the history of them. Sent from my HUGO-H1 using Tapatalk
  7. Sorry meant td05g not td06. Sent from my HUGO-H1 using Tapatalk
  8. Hiya mate. I think I was watching the same turbo. Went for £355. There's a VF 43 on there for about £380 similar to a VF 35 but different size exhaust housing. I've been looking myself but think I may go for a td06g 16g variant it 18g. Been looking at new kinugawa or Mamba. Think they are both made by Kamal and have had good reviews on a few different forums. Available with billet wheels etc. Good for thought anyway. Good luck. Sent from my HUGO-H1 using Tapatalk
  9. Just recently buying my current new age Impreza the boost pill was missing. Didn't even feel like the car had a turbo fitted.. you can use a mig welding tip as a pill if missing. Sent from my HUGO-H1 using Tapatalk
  10. I had a similar misfire on my classic years ago. As soon as boost built up it would misfire. Bought new plugs and when I changed them found that the old plugs were gapped way to much and the boost was blowing the spark out. Sent from my HUGO-H1 using Tapatalk
  11. Make sure the boost pill is in the vacuum pipe on turbo. Sent from my HUGO-H1 using Tapatalk
  12. Hi. As the title says. Looking for a rear load compartment cover for a 2004 impreza wrx wagon. Cheers. Sent from my HUGO-H1 using Tapatalk
  13. I used to blow holes on the turbo pipes on an fiat uno turbo back in the day. When it happened you would hear the gushing noise of the air escaping and you would get black smoke out of the exhaust as you accelerated due to the fact that the ecu would put enough fuel into the engine for the amount of air it thought it was getting. Check to see if you get any black smoke as you accelerate. Im not taljing about clouds of the stuff but you'll see a steady stream as you accelerate it dissipates pretty quick. 20. Ok so thought I would share my experience with one of the cheap ebay exhaust. Ive only had the car a month or so but the exhaust has been blowing in various places since I bought it. I really can't justify spending rediculous amounts of money on things like exhausts etc when I only paid 2.5 k for the car so have been looking at various ebay exhausts. I dont like the ones that come out the back at a bit of an angle so only left a couple to go for. I decided on a 3 inch with 4.5 inch tailpipe rather than the 5 inch. This is my wifes daily for dropping the kids off and going to work a couple of times a week and don't think she really appreciates the boy racer look (HA HA) not that the half inch really makes much difference. The car has the ppp package and therefore has the prodrive exhaust fitted with the 2nd cat delete. Anyway ordered it yesterday and it arrived today and couldn't stop myself from fitting it a 9.00 tonight. Upon inspection the exhaust looks very good. Good neat welds etc. Fitting couldn't of been any easier and only took about an hour although I must add i have already had the old exhaust off previously so didnt have to worry about any rusted on bolts etc. The fit of the exhaust I have to say is exceptionally good. Flanges mated perfectly together once installed onto the hangers. Exhaust sits perfectly central with the bumper and with the correct amount of clearance below. If I had to pick anything and im really nit picking here the hanger on the center section sits back about half an inch which causes the rubber hanger to sit at a bit of an angle. This causes no problems what so ever. Exhaust has a nice deep burble not raspy at all. Haven't been on the motorway yet so don't know if there will be a drone at cruising speeds. I've attached some photos before and after fitting. Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
