fitting pillar gauges but alarm ultrasonics in the way

I have a 2003 sti and was wanting to fit pillar gauges but my alarm ultrasonics side half way down pillar, is there a way round this?

I had the same problem only way is to move it or block it off :( I know i cracked the plastic around mine when I moved it too.

yup extension is easy enough to do once you have it free of the pillar, some low amp wire to splice into the existing
