Hi all, I have just purchased my first Subaru a legacy GT import model, I am having real trouble sourcing spare parts for it. Are there any specific places that specialise in parts for imported cars ive been searching the web for hours and when asked for the reg number by some sites it doesn't even come up with my model of car. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Hello welcome feel free ro get stuck in, we have a few members with imported legacies. try www.importcarparts.co.uk usually good for stuff that's not listed as uk, 90% of UK spec parts should fit just a pain trying to find a garage or motor factors that wants to deal with grey imports.

Thank you stants much appreciated, hi Gambit the car has a few issues but it looks great and drives sweet I don't know why I didn't get one year's ago. I will probably become a pain with all the questions I have so I apologise for that in advance. Cheers.

Can anyone tell me the best place to go to get a new exhaust system I'm not loaded but I do want a decent system. I live in the south east of England. North Kent. Thanks.

How much of the exhaust do you want to replace ? How much noise ? Powerflow have franchises across the country but the are loud !

There are also a few knocking around on eBay,what year is you car ? Might be a chance that the same year impreza one will fit ad the older cars shared a lot of components

There is a small blow on the front pipe but the whole system was flagged up as being badly corroded so I am guessing the whole thing. I believe the system currently has 4 cats on it I was wondering if I could get a complete system cat free I have been told that may give it a bit more power, not sure how true that is. I will check on powerflow site thank you. Noise doesn't bother me it has a great sound and I believe people should here it too, where ever they may be. Cheers.

You'll need a friendly mot tester to get it through if it has no cats, you should get away with just a pair if the worst comes to the worst
