February 4, 201510 yr We expect it won't be too long before the Xbox One and PS4 get their inevitable refresh, and there's a good chance it could come around the time of their two year anniversaries in November 2015. Those odds are now looking even better. Netflix exec John Hunt claims that Sony "promised" a 4K-friendly version of the PS4 that he expects to "eventually" support HDR, reports The Huffington Post. Sounds like Hunt said more than he should have. Since then, Netflix has told Forbes that it isn't in a position to speak about Sony's plans, but clarified that Hunt believes that when the PS4 and Xbox One do their (expected) two-year refresh, they'll add the component for 4K video playback. Ultra HD Edition The Xbox One at it stands includes HDMI 1.4, but that's not enough to deliver uncompromised 4K - a more difficult pill to swallow after all the fanfare about Microsoft's box being a one-stop entertainment hub. Despite Sony announcing a 4K video service for the PS4 back in 2013, the console doesn't currently support the medium either. It certainly wouldn't surprise us to see a refresh around November time. Maybe someone can slim the Xbox One down a bit too? We don't know if Microsoft has noticed but it's rather hefty.
March 4, 201510 yr If they change the style of the xbox one I will buy it :). I've not really been one for buying the same console again but think I will with this one as it will probably be faster and look better :)
March 4, 201510 yr Author I don't have a 4k TV my father in law has the samsung curved TV and the lack of 4K stuff out I'm not to worried by getting one :D I was going to get a ps4 this week but the Nurspec Exhaust is back for sale so that won :D

March 4, 201510 yr Fair comment. I played a smidge of last of us. Just the opening part hooked me in but then I get easily distracted. Kept meaning to pick it up again for ps4.
March 4, 201510 yr Author It just look ace The Last Of Us. I've always ended up with both consoles at some point maybe the earliest I've ended up with both this time round. But Forza 6 is the big one I'm waiting for like a sado :)
March 4, 201510 yr Can I join your sado club? I got an xbone a week after release. Took it back for numerous reasons. Got a 4 with the refund and stuck with it until a few months later when I missed forza too much. Poked the missus in the right places and her credit card fell out [emoji48]
March 4, 201510 yr Author I was lucky enough to get one of the pre orders that wasn't picked up day after release. Not even thought about trading it in and doubt I will :D Always room on the Sado bus ;)
March 4, 201510 yr I'd never trade in a console. I got full refund for first one. It just wasn't working right. Friend of mine is always swapping between the two and he can't see that he's losing money every time.
