Ok, so I know we've all got subaru blood. But I was driving to work the other day and I saw a fiat UNO turbo in really good standard condition, plus a bird was driving it which is pretty cool in my books.

I was just wondering what other cars you lot see about that remind you of your younger days

That is cool - vw scirrocos (the V2) with the factory GTX bodykits and spoiler and s13 200sx's evoke fond memories although the scirroco was grossly underpowered and the steering wheel was too low for spirited driving as you kept banging your knees with your hands but with koni shocks, eibach springs and antiroll bars it handled like a go kart  :P

Astra GTE :D or any Escort RS's :D

Did see a really great clean XR2 driving around town. I did think wow when I see it but was shocked to think how square it looked from the pictures I still had in my head as a kid :D

An XR2I has been floating around here with 13's on it in that bright red with the Electric blue pin stripe, I liked them and they were nippy not like the Sr nova we had with the traditional DTM and bucket seats ( we must of looked like twats driving that around ) my bird at the time had a sun strip with ****** in heat written on it! What were we thinking

any old classi c ford. mk2 escorts, cortinas , capris and the 29 efi granadas. loved them and had so much fun in them

the original 2.8i capri in blue I swear is what developed my thing for coupes - never owned one though, drove a 3.0 years later which didnt have any of the handling kits and it was like trying to man handle a canal barge :)

after owning my mk1 astra I always liked the mk1 GTE's but never actually got to own or drive one- I think having now lived with the Impreza and s13 it is probably left as fond memory and not have a reality check
