hi all did not know where to put this one as it is a question about a part that fits impreza and forester, but I also think it fits legacy.

I am looking to change my sub frame bush to a POWERFLEX REAR BEAM MOUNT Ref: PFR69-118.  First, has anyone on here done this. Second, does the noise from the sub frame increase a lot and how the hell did you get the bush out of your sub frame. Third, there are others on the market and I am looking for a easy fix. these come in two parts and look fairly easy to put in but are they or is it easier to put a solid one in. any help much appreciated thanks james.

Bit late, still it's handy for the future.

Best way to get bushes out is to use a long bolt with a washer a nut and a socket.

Put the bolt through the bush and then the square hole in the socket, the socket needs to be big enough to line up with the metal housing you are removing the bush from, add washers and nut, the washers need to be just smaller than the metal housing but bigger than the centre of the bush.

Now do the nut up at the socket end and the bush will pull its self through the mount and into the socket. Should come out easily using this method.
