hello guys ive got  slight rusting on both back arches on my classic went to a good bodyshop got quoted £250 a side says got to fit new metal piece etc what you think.


For fresh metal and paint that's a good price imo

Hi mate I've recently had mine done and paid nearly same price has you have been quoted but the difference is amazing and like above for new metal and paint it's a good price.pics of them done attached mine were bad

I just paid £220 for a pair of rear arch repair panels , so your all inc quote sounds pretty good.


thast cheap. rear arches rust from inside out, so when it becomes visible there will be inner arch issues as well, how far the rot has gone wont be know until they strip it back and see how deep the rust goes.

I've gone to two body shops the last two days, both quoted me £250. They'll cut out the rust, weld in a donor panel I got off a rust free import, spray the panel and half the rear door to get the colour blended in properly.
