Gambit Posted June 20, 2015 Author Share Posted June 20, 2015 Oh right yeah about a month away lol before Japshow so plenty of time :) It's only a 1.2 clio nothing special but it's a 57 plate with 22k miles on it you can still smell the newness lol but costing a bit more than the original idea of £1,500 was going to spend lol, she's only doing her lessons at the minute. BIGD Posted June 20, 2015 Share Posted June 20, 2015 I love my Bobeye adore the shape think its the best one although I do like the new WRX STI. Not a great fan of the Bugeye. Mine is completely standard even has the original exhuast lol think its 225 would like more but dont want to brake it! I had a Corolla T Sport before this and that was 190 bhp cant say there is any difference power wise due to weight differece. I missed the grip of my forester thats why i have gone back to a subaru. Well I like them all :D I think I like the bug because not many people do :D But I have always said if I could have only had the standard head lights I'd have sold it on long before now. My bug eye what it looks like now. Well has bigger profile tyres on than that picture is a bit of an older one. Yours looks far better with the headlight conversion :) Nice colour ! Gambit Posted June 20, 2015 Author Share Posted June 20, 2015 Cheers I nearly got a front end conversion for it to make it a hawkeye but I've had her that long now didn't feel right and not many bugs left. Well they keep getting broken for parts so won't be many left :( I've thought about getting a hawkeye too. But I keep hoping I'll win the lotto so I can send the bug to be fully resprayed engine rebuilt and retire her to the collection of about 6 subaru I have planned to buy along with a list of other cars :D And that's it it's pretty dangerous now though mate you been lured into the trap and it's difficult to get out :D I spent a long time on forums but not joining them but always loved the wave thing and the community of subaru owners well most of them, it does have some to$$ers :( but I'm yet to have been in any car culture that hasn't has a few. I've seen a few people they buy them and sell a few months later but I think you have experienced the Subaru love now :D Before you know it you'll be like me watch old footage of Colin McRae and Richard Burns on youtube with pure sound :D Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Repect to you for looking after the bugeye must admit the classic still apeals. Bet a rebuild isnt cheap? Yeah ive been is some clubs but none like this one. This type of people are everywhere !!!! Yes I am a big fan a missed the handling to much even from the forester oh and of course the snow lol I already watch them lol always be a car lover since an early age was a machanic for many years thinking of going back in to it ? Subaru of course ;) And I love lot's of cars but Subaru for a few reasons really grabs me. And I love the snow :) No chance of the missus being my co driver though she hates it when I do handbrake turns or drift it in the snow :D My earliest years of rallying memory wasn't the drivers it was cars like the Audi and Peugeot Toyota Lancia I remember watching them wanting to do it. Was huge Burns and McRae fans not just because they was both Subaru drives in their careers just liked the way they both drove. My mrs said you will never make it up there lol OH YEAH!! Then i had my toyota lol not a chance it was crap !!! Oh yeah remember the Quattro and the Delta HF Intergale WOW monsters then! Was it the Lancia Stratos or the Martini or something that was super fast being like 500bhp!!! They were uncontrolable like DEATH TRAPS Never been fond of the evo at all but yeah SSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !! They were the best rally years brilliant Ive heard Subaru are re entering with the new one YEAH! Gambit Posted June 20, 2015 Author Share Posted June 20, 2015 Yeah the Lancia Delta crazy car :D Stratos was equally nut's though :D I went off Evo's after driving an Evo 4 :( it's an ok car it was why I was looking at getting an evo I started to look at Scoobs and never looked back in my defence Haha.
