Still not selling me it to be fair. I hope I'm wrong but fear it's like what the movies are doing with remakes. Like point break, and ghostbusters. They'regreat childhood memories being ruined 😂

I reckon it's gonna be great... back to the old style of shooters, can hold 500kg worth of guns and ammo and can still run, magically regain health by picking up a medikit and over the top gratuitous violence!! The melee attacks that he does looks like it's straight out of Serious Sam BFE. I can't wait... i've pre-ordered on Amazon!

I'll wait see what people think. I just remember having two playstations and two Tv's back to back, few beers on the go with a room full of mates with a winner stays on. Lost hours of my life

I still play the original doom to this day... with a few mods of course!!

Not played it for years lol I did go back and play just to complete it as I couldn't as a kid on the Amiga, Another world lol. Turns out ending was awful lol. But least it's off my bucket list

Yeh the final boss is pretty pants... shoot a rocket through a hole in the wall 3 times.... meh...

I just think it's gore for gore's sake, I liked the original doom played it for hours. But this doesn't do anything for me at all, even if it still has the BFG in it!

Don't think be a game I'll get really too many FPS about makes it hard to choose one nowadays. See might be a new WWII game on it's way I'll be keeping my eye on that. Miss the old cod days

We need a new war game to get into. I used to like the old WW2 games, how COD should be.

Got my closed beta code!! I'll be able to play for a couple of days this weekend!!

The closed beta was for multiplayer only which was a bit meh... I would've much preferred it if it was more like Quake or Unreal tournament. Instead they've made it like CoD, you have a loadout and perks n stuff. I immediately started off with a rocket launcher and a double barrelled shotgun! Would much rather start with a pistol and then it's a mad dash to find better weapons! 

Game runs really well and looks great, I'm buying it for the single player anyway!

That's what I was worried about with a reboot I know the original is dated now so was always going to be changed but COD style  don't like the sound of it. But if I get chance to play it for single player I will.

Played the first level today... cracking game!! Fast paced, fluid action, no reloads, gory as hell, amazing graphics... just so good! Multiplayer is pretty generic but I bought the game for the solo campaign
