September 4, 201510 yr Taking the Scooby for a spin and get a really hard jolt on quick acceleration is this due to dirty airfilter or a possible bad spark plug?? Airfilter is only a new one a few months back a K&N? Possible airflow?? Any thoughts?? Thanks in advance
September 4, 201510 yr A jolt like a cut in power? Could be fuel cut. If low on fuel and exiting a corner you will get fuel cut. I've had it a few times. Even as high as just below half tank.

Even as high as just below half tank.It happened on 1/4 tank, and still again on a full tank???Like a fuel issue not getting in quick enough or lack of air???? No leaks that I can see?? Fuel filter????
September 4, 201510 yr Author Possible over boost and boost cut? Does it feel like its ran out of fuel? It only on hard acceleration, now you say it it's like the boost cuts out, then it cuts in again if I ease off the pedal again
September 4, 201510 yr When I was mapped my boost would hit the limit in 4th and give me the cut. Duncan raised my limiter to avoid it. Have you made any changes that could increase boost? Possibly sticky wastegate or actuator.

Possibly sticky wastegate or actuator. No nothing, only thing changed was a new clutch fitted last Friday but the whole mass system came out??
September 4, 201510 yr Did they take the down pipe off and leave a blow? Any cel? Could perform the system test and check boost solenoid. Give it a clean for good measure. Saying that I was meant to clean mine recently [emoji19] [emoji38]
September 4, 201510 yr Author Yes down pipe was removed, Boost solenoid came up on google once or twice, so will check and give that a clean....... Hoping it's something quick and easy to fix!!! :D Really grateful for the help / advice
September 5, 201510 yr Sounds like what mine was doing I swap the fuel pump relay with the rear wiper relay and fitted a new fuel pump seems ok
September 6, 201510 yr Author Cheers guys, Found the problem and I feel like a right banana now!! :D Found a hose that has popped off and not connected!! Lol it was tucked under a bigger pipe so I couldn't see it quickly until I routed around more and spent time looking instead of crying!!!! Lol All connected and running like a mean machine again :D
